A Final Note on Knowledge
Having Islamic knowledge about La ilaha il-Allah Muhammadur Rasulullah will not make you arrogant. Nor will it cause you to persist upon major shirk-kufr or bid'ah mukaffirah.
Rather, it helps you to repent immediately — because you know the danger of falling into shirk-kufr and bid'ah. Also anyone can fall into nullifiers of islam knowingly or unknowingly.
Allah says:
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills." — Quran 4:48
And He says:
"Say: O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins." — Quran 39:53
Knowledge of tawhid is therefore a mercy. It keeps you from the gravest danger and opens the door of repentance for everything beneath it.
Allah said:
“Only those among His servants who have knowledge truly fear Allah.”
(Qur’an 35:28)
So knowledge of Tawheed(Shahadah) protects a Muslim, keeps him aware of the danger of nullifying faith, and helps him return quickly to repent whenever he makes a mistake intentionally or unintentionally.May Allah save all of us from the torment of hellfire and life of the grave.
Summary of Key Points up to Here
To conclude the points discussed thus far:
1. The LGBTQ+ Movement and Major Sins
The LGBTQ+ movement—which promotes same-gender sexual intimacy, marriage, and gender transitioning through surgery and medicine based on corrupt feelings and desires—involves major sins. These are considered lesser than Major Shirk (polytheism), Kufr (disbelief), and Bid’ah Mukaffirah (innovations that take one out of Islam), unless the person believes these actions are permissible (halal) or openly performs Nikaah (marriage) between the same gender. However, one must be aware that persisting in major sins can eventually lead to disbelief.
2. Safeguarding the Ummah from Disbelief
It is essential to remind the Ummah of the greatest matters required to attain eternal Paradise after death. This includes understanding the actions that make a person a Mushrik (one who associates partners with Allah) or a Kafir (disbeliever), which cause one’s Islam to vanish completely.
3. Levels of Misguidance and Sin
We have discussed the different levels of misguidance and sin. Not every sin renders a person "misguided" unless that person persists in it and declares it halal. In such cases, the ruling of disbelief is applied according to the severity of the sin and the level of disobedience.
4. Idolatry and the Refutation of Extreme Sufism
It has been clarified that idol worship will emerge within this Ummah. This is displayed outwardly by extreme Sufi groups—such as certain Barelvi, Naqshbandi, Tijani, and Chisti Sufis—who are considered Mushrik-Kafir groups. This is because they seek help, assistance, intercession, healing, protection, miracles, and Dua from those in the grave (Prophets, Messengers, and Awliyah Allah).
They claim that Allah has granted the deceased power even after worldly death, so they made no distinction when they were alive in this worldly life and when they entered into the barzakh unseen life which is grave life.
Refuting these extreme innovators is a first priority in Islam, as shirk was new things(innovations) that started from the first messenger Nooh alayhisalm and still continues.
5. The Three Obligations for Every Muslim
1.Stay free from major shirk-kufr and all things which nullifies someone's Shahadahtayen completely.
2.Pray basic five times daily salah without shirk
3.Follow the last Prophet ﷺ sincerely according to your ability.
6. The Importance of Tawheed
We have reaffirmed the paramount importance of Tawheed (the Oneness of Allah which is singling out Allah alone in worship without associating anything with him). It is the foundation of Islam and the purpose for which mankind was created.
Understanding La-ilaha illAllah (negation) and Ithbaat (affirmation), centralizing Allah in worship, and following the Prophet ﷺ are fundamental for salvation.
7. Seeking Knowledge
Finally, we emphasize the necessity of seeking knowledge. Having even basic Islamic knowledge is a great benefit, as it protects the believer from falling into the traps of misguidance of shirk-kufr and innovation(bidah).

Introduction: The Reality of LGBTQ+, Intersex, and Opposite-Gender Imitation
Human beings are created by Allāh upon a natural disposition, or fiṭrah, as male or female, beginning with Ādam and Ḥawwāʾ (Eve). This natural order forms the foundation of families, societies, and human life. Marriage, procreation, and the raising of children are all rooted in this fiṭrah, which is designed to maintain balance, stability, and moral guidance in human civilization.
However, in recent decades, a global movement has emerged that challenges this natural order. The LGBTQ+ movement promotes behaviors and identities that go against the biological distinction between male and female, including homosexuality, transgenderism, and imitation of the opposite gender. Social media, entertainment, and online platforms constantly expose people to such practices, normalizing them and influencing minds away from the natural fiṭrah.
Intersex individuals, who are born neither completely male nor completely female, are a distinct matter. In Islam, their rulings are clear: they are classified according to whichever gender characteristics are predominant, whether at birth or when these traits appear at puberty. Today, modern medical technology makes it easier to determine which gender traits are dominant. Islam does not recognize a third gender. Intersex people do not choose their condition; it is created by Allāh, and they are sent into this world through their mother’s womb as a test for themselves, their families, and society.
This is very different from LGBTQ+ individuals, who actively choose to alter or redefine their gender through surgery, hormones, or other means. While intersex is a natural condition and not a matter of choice, the practices promoted by the LGBTQ+ movement are deliberate actions that oppose the natural fiṭrah established by Allāh.
Islam doesn't deny that human beings can have sinful desires. If someone feels attraction toward the same gender, it doesn't mean the person should say it or commit an evil action. Just like a father can have sexual thoughts and attraction toward his daughter, or vice versa, a sister can have sexual thoughts and attraction toward her brother, that doesn't mean someone should perform incest or speak about it.
The Prophet ﷺ said, a person is not held accountable for evil thoughts as long as they do not act on them or speak of them:
“Allah has forgiven my followers the evil thoughts that occur in their minds, as long as such thoughts are not put into action or uttered.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5269, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 127a)
Islam encourages fighting against one's own sinful desires, which is called jihād an-nafs. Scholars like Allāmah Shaykh ʿAbdul ʿAzīz bin Bāz (rahimahullāh) have provided guidance for those who have sexual feelings toward the same gender, and we will see this in the compilation guide in this article. But if someone opens a clinic to counsel and treat homosexual behavior and attraction in Western countries, they will often shut it down. This shows how far they are heading toward evil.
This book aims to clarify the reality of LGBTQ+ practices, intersex people, and opposite-gender imitation in light of the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the understanding of the Salaf, as well as the works of contemporary Sunni-Salafi scholars. It explains how these practices contradict fiṭrah, disrupt families, and challenge the natural moral and social order. It also addresses the influences of modern media, social trends, and ideological movements that encourage imitation of the opposite gender and the normalization of immoral behaviors.
By understanding the truth, readers can recognize the wisdom behind Allāh’s creation, preserve their fiṭrah, and protect themselves, their families, and their communities from confusion and corruption. This book is written for anyone seeking clarity on these issues and guidance on maintaining a life in accordance with natural disposition and divine guidance.
The LGBTQ+ movement has caused widespread confusion about human sexuality and gender. Many are seeking clarity on what reflects true “natural disposition (fitrah)” versus “human-made choice.”
This article examines same-sex relationships(homosexuality), gender transition(transgender), opposite gender imitation(mukhannath), and gender biological variations(intersex or hermaphrodite), along with Islamic rulings as explained by scholars and well-grounded students of knowledge, based upon the Quran, Sunnah, and the understanding of the Salaf.
Note for first-time readers:
If this is your first time reading about these topics, the content may disturb, shock, or make you feel uncomfortable—just as it did for me initially. Don’t worry. I am writing this because I can see that these issues are beginning to appear in Nepal, just as Western countries have legalized same-gender intimacy and marriage between men or between women.
For example, I once saw someone promoting LGBTQ content in Nepal through Facebook paid ads. Of course, such initiatives are often pushed by non-Muslims (kuffar) with an evil agenda that opposes the natural order and Islamic values.
Above image is from facebook ads library. The campaign is demanding right to vote. This campaign was run when there was Parliament voting was coming due to zen-z destroys the Parliament. See recorded video here.
At the same time, this discussion is meant to awaken and warn us about the direction in which the world is heading, and to remind us of our responsibility toward the coming generations. Islam provides guidance and solutions for every situation, and following its teachings is the only way to protect ourselves, our families, and our communities from the torment of hellfire.

This article examines the following four main categories:
1. Same-Sex Acts (Homosexuality):
Sexual relationships or marriage between men and men (Gay) or between women and women (Lesbian) are referred to as homosexuality.
Al-Allamah Shaykh ‘Ubayd al-Jābirī rahimahullah stated:
“…those who openly perform marriage (Nikah) between men and men, or women and women (same-gender unions), are considered disbelievers (Kafir).”
This ruling applies specifically to those who openly reject the prohibition and justify same-gender marriage as permissible. In other words, if someone knowingly claims that such marriages or same sex(men to men or women to women) sexual relationships are allowed in Islam, they fall into disbelief.
However, for a person who commits homosexual acts privately but still recognizes these acts as sinful and forbidden in Islam, the ruling is different. Such a person remains a Muslim, but they are committing a major sin (kabirah).
This is similar to other major sins in Islam, such as:
- Zina (adultery or fornication)
- Usury (interest or riba)
- Lying
- Murder
Committing these acts knowingly does not make one a disbeliever as long as they do not claim these sins are permissible in Islam. The person is held accountable before Allah for these major sins and must repent to avoid punishment.
Key point: Disbelief (kufr) is tied to openly rejecting Allah’s laws or declaring what is prohibited as permissible, not simply committing sins privately while knowing they are forbidden.

Same-Gender Sexual Acts (Homosexuality) in Quran & Sunnah:
Same-gender sexual intimacy is mentioned in the Quran in relation to the people of Prophet Lūṭ عليه السلام, and similar prohibitions are found in the scriptures revealed to the Ahle-Kitab (Jews and Christians), namely the Tawrat (Torah) and Injil (Gospel).
Allah says in the Quran:
“And remember Lot (Lūt) when he said to his people: ‘Do you commit the worst sin such as none before you have committed among creation? Indeed, you practice your lusts on men instead of women. Nay, but you are a people transgressing beyond bounds.’”
[Quran 7:80-81, source: Abu Khadija article, https://abukhadeejah.com/lbtq-homosexuality-gay-muslims-and-islam/]
The people of Lūt used to have sexual intercourse with men instead of women, a practice unknown among the Children of Adam before them. This act was invented by the people of Sodom, and Allah’s curse is upon them.
The Quran also states:
“You come to the men of creation and you leave those wives whom Allah has created for you? Nay! You are a transgressing people.”
[Quran 26:165-166]
Hadith evidence:
- Ibn ‘Abbās narrated that the Messenger of Allah (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said:
“The curse of Allah is upon the one who engages in the act of the People of Lūt. The curse of Allah is upon the one who engages in the act of the People of Lūt. The curse of Allah is upon the one who engages in the act of the People of Lūt.”
(Musnad Imām Ahmad 4/292, graded Saheeh by Ahmad Shākir; As-Silsilatus-Sahīhah no. 6432 by Al-Albāni)
- Jābir reported:
“What I fear most for my followers is the act of the People of Lūt.”
(At-Tirmidhi 1457, Ibn Mājah 2563, graded Hasan by Al-Albāni)
This warning has become a reality today. In dramas, web series, movies, and other media—produced by Muslim or non-Muslim directors—one can find depictions of women kissing other women, men kissing men, and both men and women imitating the opposite gender. Such behaviors are not limited to adult content; they are often presented indirectly in Bollywood, Hollywood, web series, dramas, and even cartoons. Popular shows like The Simpsons and other children’s media subtly manipulate young audiences, normalizing homosexual behavior and gender imitation.
Homosexuality and deliberate imitation of the opposite gender are being promoted, displayed, and sometimes celebrated in mainstream culture, making the Prophet’s ﷺ warning increasingly relevant.
- Ibn ‘Abbās reported the Prophet (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said:
“Cursed is the one who engages in intercourse with an animal; cursed is the one who does the action of the People of Lūt.”
(Ahmad 1878, graded Saheeh by Al-Albāni, Sahih al-Jami’, no. 5891)
- Ibn ‘Abbās also narrated:
“Whoever you find doing the deed of the people of Lūt, kill the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.”
(Al-Tirmidhi 1456; Abu Dawud 4462; Ibn Majah 2561, graded Saheeh by Al-Albāni, Sahih al-Jami’, no. 6589)
Note: The execution of this ruling is to be carried out only by Muslim authorities in Muslim countries, and only after the proof has been fully established, as explained by scholars.

Homosexuality is considered a well-known major sin in Islam and is also contrary to the natural disposition (fitrah) of human beings. In this article, we will examine it in detail, along with its social, moral, and religious implications.
2. Gender Transition (Transgenderism):
The ruling on changing one’s gender from male to female or female to male through surgery or medicines, simply because of personal feelings. What these people are doing has a share in the saying of Iblīs.
Allah says in the Quran:
"And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allāh. And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allāh has certainly sustained a clear loss." [Quran 4:119]
Note: We all have feelings to commit evil—for example, a father may have sexually lustful thoughts toward his daughter, a mother toward her son, or a brother toward his sister. This does not mean we are to act upon them or utter such thoughts. Feeling something does not obligate action; one must abstain from it.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Allah has forgiven my followers the evil thoughts that occur to their minds, as long as such thoughts are not put into action or uttered." - [Sahih al-Bukhari 5269, Sahih Muslim 127a, Sahih Al-Bukhaari 6491, Sahih Muslim 131].
The summarized tafsir of Surah An-Nas verse 4 (114:4) - مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ by Al-Allamah Imam Muhsin Khan and Muhammad Taqiyuddin Al-Hilali mentions in the footnotes:
Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said,
"The (Hell) Fire is surrounded by all kinds of desires and passions, while Paradise is surrounded by all kinds of disliked undesirable things."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, Hadith No. 494)
This means that uncontrolled desires and animalistic passions lead a person toward the Fire. In contrast, self-control, patience, chastity, and obedience to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ lead a person toward Paradise.
What leads to Hell is easy to do, while what leads to Paradise is difficult to do. End.
3. Intentional Imitation (Mukhnnash by choice):
This category addresses those who are born as fully functioning males but choose to imitate women in speech, dress, or mannerisms—an act specifically cursed in the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ). The ruling applies similarly to women who imitate men.
As narrated by Ibn `Abbas:
“The Prophet (ﷺ) cursed effeminate men (those men who are in the similitude—assume the manners of women) and those women who assume the manners of men, and he said, 'Turn them out of your houses.' The Prophet (ﷺ) turned out such-and-such man, and `Umar turned out such-and-such woman.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 5886)
This clearly shows that intentional imitation of the opposite gender, when one is biologically male or female, is forbidden and cursed, regardless of reason or context.
Modern manifestations:
- In web series, comedy videos, pornography, and even some weddings, you may see men dressing like women or women dressing like men.
- On platforms such as YouTube (shorts) , Facebook, and Instagram (reels), it has become increasingly common among both Muslims and non-Muslims.
- Stand-up comedy shows and popular entertainment, such as the Kapil Sharma show in India and similar programs in other countries, often present such behavior for laughs, social popularity and financial gain.
Islamic perspective:
Despite the cultural normalization in media or in society, all these acts remain cursed by the tongue of the last Prophet Muhammad (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ). Intentional imitation of the opposite gender for entertainment, mockery, or personal gain is not permissible and carries spiritual consequences.
Key point:
- This ruling applies only to intentional imitation by choice, not to individuals born with intersex characteristics (biological variations), who are treated differently in Sharia.
- The curse in the Hadith demonstrates the gravity of Mukhnnash by choice and warns against trivializing gender roles for entertainment or social gain.
4. Biological Variations (Intersex or Mukhnnash by birth):
A clarification on those born neither fully male nor fully female but having one or the other characteristic overwhelmingly. This is an involuntary condition; there is no sin upon them, and they are treated with specific compassion and legal guidelines in Sharia(Islamic Law), similar to individuals born blind, mute, or with other disabilities. See Sahih al-Bukhari 5887 & Sahih Muslim 2180.
Important Note:
The Hadith in which the Prophet cursed those who are male but behave like women, or female but behave like men, and those who are born like that, uses the same word: Al-Mukhnniseen (الْمُخَنَّثِينَ) or Mukhnnash (مُخَنَّثٌ).
These matters are examined alongside Islamic rulings as explained by scholars and well-grounded students of knowledge, based upon the Quran, Sunnah, and the understanding of the Salaf.
Distinguishing Major Sins from the Nullifiers of Islam
Placing LGBTQ+ Within the Broader Context of Sin
Before I proceed further to explain this article, let me remind you about the most severe types of misguidance and sin — those that are greater than the LGBTQ+ issue.
If someone commits homosexuality or changes his or her gender through surgery or medicine because of their corrupt and sinful feelings, but considers it haram and sinful in Islam — just as Muslims commit other major sins lesser than major shirk-kufr such as fornication, adultery, usury (interest), murder, rape, lying, deceiving people, disobedience to parents, backbiting, slandering, taking drugs, drinking intoxicants like alcohol, and so on — then such a Muslim is a major sinner with weak imaan and threatened with hellfire, but the person is still a Muslim, as long as the person believes that LGBTQ+ is haram in Islam.
So, which sin is the greatest — heavier and more severe than the LGBTQ+ issue? It is well-known (ma'ruf) in Islam: it is major shirk-kufr, and those bid'ah which constitute major shirk-kufr (bid'ah mukaffirah). In simple terms, those things that make a person a mushrik-kafir.
Misguidance and Sin Have Order and Rulings in Islam
Not all sins, acts of disobedience, and misguidance share an equal share of punishment in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. When scholars collected all the core issues related to misguidance, sins, and disobedience, a clear order emerged. Let me mention their order and rulings in brief.
1. The First Murder and the Origin of Shirk
When one of Adam's sons committed the first sin on earth — the first murder — Allah did not call it major shirk-kufr, nor did Allah say He would never forgive it, nor that the murderer would remain in Jahannam (Hellfire) forever. Rather, as Ibn Abbas reported in Sahih al-Bukhari, all the children of Adam were Muslims — until a misguided Muslim began to show exaggeration towards their muslim pious forefathers at the time of the first messenger, Nuh (alayhis-salam).
As generations passed after the first Prophet Adam (alayhis-salam), the people of Nuh's era began venerating five righteous Muslims: Wadd, Nasr, Yaghuth, and Ya'uq — and eventually worshipped them in the form of idols. Through exaggerating the status of righteous Muslims after their death, they fell into major shirk with Allah. This is how the first mankind bid'ah(innovation)— which is shirk — appeared in the religion of mankind.
Shirk is against human fitrah and is the worst zulm (oppression/wrong) against Allah. Whoever dies upon major shirk without valid repentance before death will remain in the Hellfire forever. Allah says in the Glorious Quran:
“Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills.” — Quran 4:48; see also 4:116
Al-'Allamah Imam Muhammad Nasiruddin al-Albani wrote a brief article on this topic titled History and Origin of Shirk. https://www.salafipublications.com/sps/sp.cfm?subsecID=TAW01&articleID=TAW010004&articlePages=1 and https://www.troid.org/the-origins-of-shirk/
Negating all kinds of shirk is the meaning of La ilaha — meaning: "None has the right to be worshipped." This is called nafi (negation).
There is both minor shirk and major shirk. As for major shirk: whoever dies in this state will remain in the Hellfire forever. As for minor shirk: a person will remain in the Hellfire, but not for eternity.
The major sins which are lesser than major shirk-kufr are under Allah's will — if He wills, He will punish; if He wills, He will forgive from His mercy. Such a person will not remain in the Hellfire forever.
What Nullifies a Person's Islam Completely
Major shirk nullifies a person's Islam completely. There are other things that similarly nullify one's Islam completely, all of which fall under the categories of La ilaha: riddah (apostasy), magic, major kufr, nifaq al-i'tiqad (major hypocrisy), mocking Islam, taking prophets, messengers, and righteous Muslims as intermediaries between Allah and His creation — by seeking help, assistance, du'a, intercession, healing, and protection from them after their worldly death from far or near their gravesite by falsely claiming, Allah has given them power and it happens by the will and permission of Allah and so on.
The Ordered Levels of Misguidance, Sin, and Disobedience
- Things which nullify a person's Islam completely — meaning, things which make a person a mushrik-kafir: major shirk, bid'ah which constitutes major shirk-kufr (called bid'ah mukaffirah), riddah (apostasy), magic, major kufr, nifaq al-i'tiqad (major hypocrisy), mocking Islam, taking prophets, messengers, and righteous Muslims as intermediaries in terms of seeking help, assistance, du'a, intercession, healing, and protection after their worldly death from far or near their gravesite by falsely claiming, Allah has given them power and it happens by the will and permission of Allah, and so on. If such a person dies in this state, he or she will remain in the Hellfire forever.
- Minor shirk-kufr and bid'ah which constitutes minor shirk-kufr (called bid'ah saghirah). If someone dies in this state, he or she will go to the Hellfire — in accordance with the general verses in which Allah states He does not forgive shirk — however, the person will not remain in the Hellfire forever.
- Bid'ah which are lesser than shirk-kufr. Such a person will receive a more severe punishment than major sinners, because bid'ah is worse than sins, as reported from our pious salaf and scholars.
- Major sins which are lesser than shirk-kufr and bid'ah — such as fornication, adultery, disobedience to parents, murder, killing, rape, taking interest, deceiving people, lying, backbiting, slander, haram income, and so on. A person must repent before death, and repentance must be uttered verbally. Even without repentance, if the person dies, he or she will not remain in the Hellfire forever. Many hadith about intercession are narrated on behalf of major sinners. Allah says:
“Say: O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” — Quran 39:53
- Minor sins: these are most of the time forgivable by other good deeds. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "The five daily prayers, from one Friday to the next, and from one Ramadan to the next, are expiation for whatever sins come between them, so long as major sins are avoided." (Sahih Muslim, no. 233)
All of these levels fall under La ilaha which is a negation called nafi in arabic. The first thing that every person ponders and stays away from within Lailaha is those things which makes someone Mushrik-kafir and then those are lesser which leads to nullifiers of islam completely or weakens tawheed.
Righteous Deeds Also Differ and Have Levels
Just as misguidance, sin, and disobedience differ in severity, so too do righteous deeds differ in virtue and have levels. Smiling at your brother is a righteous deed in Islam. Removing something harmful from the road is a righteous deed in Islam. But which is the highest form of worship?
We know from the hadith: the best righteous deed is praying the five daily prayers with tawhid — singling out Allah alone in worship without associating anything with Him. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) was asked: "Which deed is most beloved to Allah?" He said: "Prayer performed at its proper time." (Sahih al-Bukhari, no. 527; Sahih Muslim, no. 85)
This is called tawhid — which is singling out Allah alone in worship without any partner. This is what we affirm, called ithbat, which is ill-Allah: meaning only Allah deserves to be worshipped alone, without any partner.
La ilaha il-Allah — The Call of Every Messenger
La ilaha il-Allah means: "There is none worthy of worship in truth except Allah." This was the call of every messenger. Allah says in the Glorious Quran:
“And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying]: Worship Allah and avoid Taghut.” — Quran 16:36
“And We did not send any messenger before you [O Muhammad] except that We revealed to him that there is no deity [worthy of worship] except Me, so worship Me.” — Quran 21:25
“And ask those We sent before you of Our messengers: Did We ever appoint gods to be worshipped besides the Most Merciful?” — Quran 43:45
On this topic, you may read the dedicated book by Al-'Allamah Imam Rabi' Hadi al-Madkhali: Manhaj al-Anbiya' fi al-Da'wah ill-Allah (The Methodology of All the Prophets in Calling to Allah).
The Shahadah of This Ummah: The Two Testimonies of Faith(Shahadatayn)
Now, we are the ummah of the last Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), so the kalimah (shahadah) is: Laa ilaha ill-Allah Muhammadur Rasulullah — called the shahadatayn, meaning: "None has the right to be worshipped in truth except Allah alone, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." This is as it comes in the hadith of Mu'adh ibn Jabal (radi Allahu anhu).
The Prophet ﷺ said to Mu‘adh ibn Jabal when sending him to Yemen:
“Let the first thing you call them to be the testimony that none has the right to be worshipped in truth except Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)
the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Do you know what is the right of Allah upon His servants and what is the right of the servants upon Allah?" He said: "The right of Allah upon His servants is that they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him." (Sahih al-Bukhari, no. 6267; Sahih Muslim, no. 30)
The 72 Sects: Misguidance Has Degrees
Similarly, when we look at the different understandings and sects in Islam, it increases our iman because whatever the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said is the truth. He said: "My ummah will split into seventy-three sects. All of them will be in the Fire except one." The companions asked: "Who is that group?" He replied: "Those who are upon what I and my companions are upon today." (Sunan al-Tirmidhi, no. 2641; declared hasan by al-Albani)
In one version, he says: Jamah and ibn Masood explain, Jamah is whoever is upon the truth if even if the person is alone.
Not all of Ahl al-Bid'ah deserve to remain in the Hellfire forever — so their misguidance differs.
The 72 sects are foundational sects, and from them sprout many sub-sects, as Al-'Allamah al-Walid al-Mufti and Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan have mentioned. For example: the Barelwis who follow the Qadiri Sufi order (attributed to the innocent Shaykh 'Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani), the Deobandis, Naqshbandis, and Tijanis are all branches of Sufism — with Sufism being the main branch. Likewise, the Rafidah, Zaydis, Batinis, and Isma'ilis are all branches of Shi'ism — with Shi'ism being the main branch.
Within Ahl al-Bid'ah, there are those who are mushrik-kafir and those who are not. All 72 sects are in the Hellfire and they are Ahl al-Bid'ah, but not all people from these 72 sects will remain in the Hellfire forever. That does not mean there are no mushrik-kafir among the 72 sects who claim Islam.
Those who ascribe to Islam outwardly — praying, fasting, performing hajj, giving zakah, and giving sadaqah — but whose deviation, misguidance, and sin have reached the level of major shirk-kufr: this is very common among the extreme Sufis such as the Barelwi-Sufis, Naqshbandi-Sufis, Tijani-Sufis, and others; and likewise among the extreme Shi'as, such as the Rafidah-Shi'as. They ask for help, assistance, miracles, du'a, intercession, healing, and protection from those prophets, messengers, and righteous Muslims who are in the grave — living their unseen barzakh life — and who are not present physically or spiritually in this world. They claim: just as when the prophets and righteous were alive, people used to ask for their help by the will and permission of Allah, they still have those abilities and powers even after their worldly death. They claim that such figures, even while in the barzakh, can still help, assist and make dua for anyone — from near their grave or from afar, in any language — and can help, assist, and solve problems. With this belief, they make no distinction between worldly life and barzakh life. Indeed, the extremist Ahl al-Bid'ah even claim these high status figures are more powerful now than when they were alive. They call this wasilah and tawassul.
The Mushrikeen-Kafireen Also Believed in Allah — A Critical Clarification
It is very important to understand this, because in the Quran, the kuffar of the past did the same thing:
First — the kuffar believed in Allah as Lord: They believed Allah is the Lord of the worlds, the Creator, the Sustainer, the Provider, that everything happens by the will of Allah, and that Allah is the ultimate Helper and Saviour. Allah says:
“And if you ask them who created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon, they will surely say: Allah.” — Quran 29:61
“And most of them do not believe in Allah except while they associate others with Him.” — Quran 12:106
Second — the mushrikeen of Quraysh used righteous figures as intermediaries: They used muslim righteous people like Wadd, Nasr, Yaghuth, and Ya'uq — represented in the form of idols — as well as angels and prophets, as intermediaries to draw closer to Allah. Allah says:
“And those who take protectors besides Him [say]: We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position.” — Quran 39:3
“And they worship besides Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say: These are our intercessors with Allah.” — Quran 10:18
And in other verses, Allah commands us to seek wasilah: "O you who have believed, fear Allah and seek the means [wasilah] of nearness to Him and strive in His cause that you may succeed." (Quran 5:35). So we have the mushrik-kafir type of wasilah and tawassul, and the correct Muslim type of wasilah and tawassul. Understanding this distinction is of the utmost importance.
Third — the mushrikeen worshipped Allah sincerely in times of difficulty: The mushrikeen at the time of the last Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) used to worship Allah alone and sincerely when calamities struck them — for example, when they were in danger at sea. Allah mentions this in the Quran:
“And when waves come over them like canopies, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion. But when He delivers them to the land, there are [some] of them who are moderate [in faith]. And none rejects Our signs except everyone treacherous and ungrateful.” — Quran 31:32
“And when adversity touches you at sea, lost are [all] those you invoke except for Him. But when He delivers you to the land, you turn away [from Him]. And ever is man ungrateful.” — Quran 17:67
A mushrik is someone who worships Allah alone sincerely by making dua or any other way but at other times commits major shirk with Allah. And every mushrik is a kafir. If a person dies in this state without valid repentance, he or she will remain in the Hellfire forever. Valid repentance means: repentance is only opened before the soul reaches the throat, and before the sun rises from the West direction.
The Origin of Shirk Revisited
Shirk began at the time of the first messenger Nuh (alayhis-salam). When five righteous Muslims — Ya'uq, Wadd, and Nasr — died, Shaytan deceived their people and they made idols of them. After several generations, they began worshipping them. Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) said that the Arabs later also worshipped these same figures in various regions, as mentioned in the hadith (Sahih al-Bukhari, no. 4920).
Remember: the people of Nuh did not believe these idols were independent gods — they believed in Allah as Lord. What we find is that the mushrik-kafir used to believe in Allah, worship Allah, and yet also commit major shirk-kufr at the same time.
Therefore, do not be deceived or confused by the worship of extreme Ahl al-Bid'ah such as the Barelwi-Sufis, Naqshbandi-Sufis, Tijani-Sufis, and extreme Shi'as such as the Rafidah-Shi'as. We are not deceived by their acts of worship or by their numbers of jamah. Al-Allamah Shaykh Salih Al Fawzan said, don't be deceived by worship of Ahlulbidah and don't compare your worship to them.
Refuting Extreme Ahl al-Bid'ah is the First Priority
Refuting major shirk-kufr and bid'ah which constitutes major shirk-kufr among the extreme Ahl al-Bid'ah is given first priority in Islam over refuting the kuffar who do not outwardly display Islam — because the extreme Ahl al-Bid'ah display Islam outwardly, whereas the kuffar do not claim to be Muslims. That is why, when you read the books of our salaf, they wrote far more on Ahl al-Bid'ah than on Jews and Christians — because the shirk-kufr of the Jews and Christians is open and clear in the Quran and Sunnah, whereas Ahl al-Bid'ah come within the garments of Islam: praying, fasting, keeping beards, performing hajj and 'umrah, and so on. That is why the four imams — Imam Abu Hanifah, Imam Malik, Imam al-Shafi'i, and Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal — and their students never wrote heavily against the kuffar, but wrote extensively against Ahl al-Bid'ah, such as Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal's Radd 'ala al-Jahmiyyah.
The four imams never wrote books against Jews, Christians, Hindus, and so on, but they wrote against Ahl al-Bid'ah. For clarity, see the speech of Shaykh Salih Aal al-Shaykh on this matter.https://youtube.com/watch?v=B3dh37A1UPE&si=qhDE4vikzWlJ5D9u

Idol Worship Will Come in This Ummah
The last Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "The Hour will not come until the tribes of my ummah unite with the mushrikeen and until the tribes of my ummah worship idols." (Sunan Abi Dawud, no. 4252; Sunan al-Tirmidhi, no. 2219; declared sahih by al-Albani). And he also said: "Verily, I fear for my ummah the leaders who lead them astray, and if the sword is placed upon my ummah, it will not be lifted from them until the Day of Resurrection." (Sahih Muslim, no. 1853)
There is no hadith with the wording that the Prophet said his whole ummah will never commit major shirk-kufr. What Ahl al-Bid'ah quote from Sahih al-Bukhari was addressed only to his companions — not to the entire ummah — and does not contain the wording "my ummah" or "my whole ummah." But we do have hadith with clear wording that from his ummah people will join the mushrikeen and will worship idols. The texts are clear. When one says, "The Prophet is talking about the kuffar" — but the hadith is clear: they will join the mushrikeen — so mushrikeen joining mushrikeen? That is an absurdity. The text is clear.
Istighathah, Shafa'ah & asking Allah by the virtue and status of Muhammad salahialyhiwasalm: The Core Topics of Wasilah and Tawassul
Istighathah (calling upon other than Allah for help in times of hardship) and shafa'ah (intercession) are the main topics within wasilah and tawassul. The extreme Sufis and Shi'as commit major shirk-kufr openly and claim it is wasilah and tawassul.
Why We Mentioned the Levels of Sin — The Connection to This Article
What I mentioned above regarding the levels of sins and disobedience, even though it is not directly connected to the main discussion of this article about LGBTQ, is to show you an important principle.
Many people focus heavily on sins and oppression that occur between human beings or against animals, while they give little or no attention to the greatest oppression, which is oppression against Allah Himself.
This applies to two groups.
First, there are those who outwardly display Islam yet commit persistence major shirk-kufr and innovations that constitute major shirk-kufr, by practicing the mushrik-kafir type of tawassul(wasilah) such as extreme ahelulbidah like barelvi-sufis, naqshabandi-sufis, ijani sufis and other likes extreme shias like rafidah shias and many others individually or in groups. These extreme ahlulbidah, don’t openly say, we worship other than ALlah rather their actions and speech of the tongue manifest the mushrik-kafir type of understanding and actions. These extreme ahlulbidah which are mushrik-kafir jamah(groups) are most severe in dangerous than those mushrik-kafir who don’t display islam outwardly like jews, christinas, hindus, buddhist, agnostic, desists and so on.
Second, there are those who do not display Islam outwardly at all, such as Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, atheists, agnostics, deists and others.
As human beings, we naturally share emotions and similar hearts. We understand pain, injustice and oppression because we experience them ourselves. For this reason people easily recognize wrongdoing between humans and strongly react to it.
However, Allah is unlike His creation.
Allah said:
“There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.”
(Qur’an 42:11)
Therefore, through intellect alone (‘aql), we cannot fully know what Allah hates the most or what is most serious in His sight. That knowledge comes only through revelation (wahi).
Through revelation Allah informed us that the greatest oppression is shirk.
Allah said:
“Indeed, associating partners with Allah is a tremendous oppression.”
(Qur’an 31:13)
So the greatest zulm is oppression against Allah by associating partners with Him, meaning matters that make a human being a mushrik or kafir.
As for oppression against Allah’s creation, Allah does not neglect it either. Every injustice between people will be accounted for on the Day of Judgment.
And as for oppression against Allah’s creation — Allah will not leave that unanswered either. However, this type of oppression is at the second level. Allah says:
“Indeed, Allah does not do injustice, even as much as an atom’s weight; while if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.” — Quran 4:40
Allah says in a hadith qudsi: “O My servants, I have forbidden zulm upon Myself and made it forbidden among you, so do not oppress one another.” — Sahih Muslim, no. 2577 (Hadith of Abu Dharr)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever has wronged his brother concerning honor or anything else, let him seek forgiveness today before there will be no dinar or dirham.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari)
However, this type of oppression comes after the right of Allah in priority.
For this reason, a believer must always centralize Allah first in life based upon revelation, not merely emotions or human reasoning.
Allah said:
“Say: Indeed my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.”
(Qur’an 6:162)
What we see today is that many people centralize human beings instead of Allah. When priorities are reversed, confusion, disturbance and destruction spread in societies.
Islam teaches correct priorities.
First comes the right of Allah which is Tawheed.
Then comes the rights of His creation.
Always Centralize Allah First — Based Upon Wahi (Revelation)
So always centralise Allah first in your life, based upon wahi (revelation). What we see today is the centralising of human beings over Allah — and that is why we have so much confusion, disturbance, and destruction in the world. Always follow priorities.
The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “The right of Allah over His servants is that they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him. And the right of the servants over Allah is that He will not punish those who do not associate anything with Him.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, no. 6267; Sahih Muslim, no. 30 — hadith of Mu‘adh ibn Jabal)
The root cause of all confusion, misguidance, and moral destruction in the world — whether among those who claim Islam or those outside of it — is the abandonment of this single principle: placing Allah and His wahi at the centre.
When human desires, human reasoning, and human feelings become the measure of right and wrong even in the most obvious things like Allah exist, homosexuality and transgender is major sins, Shirk is worst oppression. These are well known natural disposition — rather than the Quran and the Sunnah — the result is exactly what we witness today. Allah says:
“Have you seen he who has taken as his god his own desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge, and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart, and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah? Then will you not be reminded?” — Quran 45:23
“Then is it the judgement of [the time of] ignorance they desire? But who is better than Allah in judgement for a people who are certain [in faith]?” — Quran 5:50

Below are the correct statements and their explanation of 10 quiz in short
Question 1:
– Rejecting Prophets and Messengers of Allah as intermediaries between Allah and His servants in conveying the message of Islam to mankind is major kufr-shirk. Whoever does this is kafir-mushrik.
– Accepting Prophets and Messengers of Allah as intermediaries between Allah and His servants in worship is major shirk-kufr. Whoever does this is mushrik-kafir.
– Anyone who rejects the last Prophet Muhammad ﷺ or any other prophets and messengers mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah as intermediaries in conveying the message of Islam is major kufr-shirk.Whoever does this is kafir-mushrik.
– Accepting the last Prophet Muhammad ﷺ or any other prophets and messengers mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah as intermediaries in worship is major shirk-kufr. Whoever does this is mushrik-kafir.
– Anyone who rejects Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the last prophet and messenger of Allah and claims there will be a new prophet or messenger bringing a new law (Shariah) is major kufr-shirk. Whoever does this is mushrik-kafir.
Are all the above statements correct or incorrect?
A. Correct
B. Incorrect
Answer: A ✅ All the above statements are correct.
Explanation:
These statements clearly distinguish between two types of matters:
- Belief in Prophets as conveyors of the message – rejecting them is kufr.
- Using Prophets or messengers as intermediaries in worship – doing so constitutes major shirk-kufr.
Also, denying the finality of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and claiming a new messenger will come with a new law is a form of major kufr-shirk.
This aligns with Qur’an and Sunnah:
“Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last of the prophets.”
(Qur’an 33:40)
“And do not take the prophets as lords besides Allah.”
(Qur’an 3:79)
Question 2:
– Asking for help, assistance, dua, intercession, miracles, healing, or protection in times of hardship and difficulties from anyone who is in the grave, living the unseen Barzakh life, from their nearby gravesite or from far—whether the buried person is Muslim or kafir—is major shirk-kufr with Allah. Whoever sane does this is mushrik-kafir without doubt.
– Asking for help, assistance, dua, intercession, miracles, healing, or protection from Prophets, Messengers, and Awliya of Allah in times of hardship and difficulties who are in the grave living the unseen Barzakh life, from their nearby gravesite or from far—whether the buried person is Muslim or kafir—is major shirk-kufr with Allah. Whoever sane does this is mushrik-kafir without doubt.
Is the above statements correct or incorrect?
A. Correct
B. Incorrect
Answer: A ✅ All the above statements are correct.
Explanation:
This clearly falls under major shirk-kufr because acts of worship, reliance, or asking for help (dua, intercession, protection) must be directed only to Allah, whether the person being called upon is alive or in the Barzakh (grave).
Allah said:
“And the mosques are for Allah, so do not call upon anyone along with Allah.”
(Qur’an 72:18)
“And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, being sincere to Him in religion.”
(Qur’an 98:5)
Any request for help or intercession from the dead, whether righteous or not, is a nullifier of Tawheed and constitutes major shirk-kufr.
Question 3:
– Asking for help, assistance, dua, intercession, miracles, healing, or protection from anyone who is in the grave, living the unseen Barzakh life, from their nearby gravesite or from far, at any time (istianah)—whether the buried person is Muslim or kafir—is major shirk-kufr with Allah. Whoever sane does this is mushrik-kafir without doubt.
– Asking for help, assistance, dua, intercession, miracles, healing, or protection from Prophets, Messengers, and Awliya of Allah who are in the grave living the unseen Barzakh life, from their nearby gravesite or from far, at any time (istianah)—whether the buried person is Muslim or kafir—is major shirk-kufr with Allah. Whoever sane does this is mushrik-kafir without doubt.
Is the above statements correct or incorrect?
A. Correct
B. Incorrect
Answer: A ✅ All the above statements are correct.
Explanation:
Adding “at any time (istianah)” emphasizes that the prohibition applies always, not only in specific circumstances. Worship, reliance, or asking for help (dua, intercession, protection) must be directed only to Allah, whether the person being called upon is alive or in the Barzakh (grave).
Allah said:
“And the mosques are for Allah, so do not call upon anyone along with Allah.”
(Qur’an 72:18)
“And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, being sincere to Him in religion.”
(Qur’an 98:5)
Any request for help from the dead, at any time, whether righteous or not, is a nullifier of Tawheed and constitutes major shirk-kufr.
Question 4:
Which of the following describes permissible intercession (Tawassul) in Islam?
A. Asking someone in the grave to make dua to Allah for you
B. Asking a living person who is present, alive, and able to make dua to Allah on your behalf
C. Asking Prophets or Awliya in the Barzakh to intercede for you
D. Calling upon angels or deceased righteous people for help instead of Allah
Correct Answer: B ✅
Explanation:
Permissible intercession (Tawassul) includes asking a living, capable person to make dua to Allah on your behalf. This does not include asking anyone who is in the grave or any deceased person, as that would constitute major shirk-kufr.
Allah said:
“And your Lord said: Call upon Me; I will respond to you.”
(Qur’an 40:60)
The key distinction is that the person must be alive and able; asking those in the Barzakh (grave) for intercession is not permissible.
Question 5:
Asking Allah by virtue of the status of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ or any other righteous Muslims, alive or in the grave, while addressing Allah first, using their honor or status as a means, is considered minor shirk, bidah, and haram.
Many weak and fabricated hadiths exist regarding this type of Tawassul.
Is the above statements correct or incorrect?
A. Correct
B. Incorrect
Answer: A ✅ The above statement is correct.
Explanation:
- This type of Tawassul is not major shirk-kufr, but it is still minor shirk and bidah, and is haram to practice.
- The invocation must always start by addressing Allah, but using the status of the Prophet ﷺ or righteous Muslims as a means is prohibited if it leads to misunderstanding or exaggeration.
- Scholars caution against weak or fabricated hadiths that promote this practice, because it can easily lead to major shirk if misapplied.
Question 6:
Asking Allah by saying: “O Allah, I love Your Prophet ﷺ, I am his ummah, I love Abu Bakr, I love my parents, so forgive me, bless me,” and similar statements is halal and permissible, because loving the righteous people is considered good deeds.
Is the above statement correct or incorrect?
A. Correct
B. Incorrect
Answer: A ✅ The above statement is correct.
Explanation:
- Expressing love for the Prophet ﷺ, companions, parents, and righteous people is a good deed in Islam.
- When asking Allah for forgiveness, blessing, or mercy, it is permissible to mention love for righteous people as a motivation, as long as all acts of worship and dua are directed to Allah alone.
- This practice does not constitute shirk because no one besides Allah is being worshipped or asked to act independently.
Question 7:
Asking a living person who is alive, present, and able to make dua to Allah on your behalf is permissible and halal.
Is the above statement correct or incorrect?
A. Correct
B. Incorrect
Answer: A ✅ The above statement is correct.
Explanation:
- It is allowed to ask a capable, living person to make dua for you.
- This does not involve asking anyone in the grave or directing acts of worship to others besides Allah, so it is not shirk or bidah.
Question 8:
Asking Allah through His Names and Attributes is permissible and recommended, for example: “O Most Merciful, O Forgiving, have mercy upon me.”
Is the above statement correct or incorrect?
A. Correct
B. Incorrect
Answer: A ✅ The above statement is correct.
Explanation:
- Using Allah’s Names and Attributes as a means to call upon Him is legislated and part of correct Tawassul.
- This type of invocation directs worship to Allah alone and strengthens Tawheed.
Question 9:
Asking Allah using one’s own righteous deeds as a means, like the people of the cave in the authentic hadith, is permissible and halal.
Is the above statement correct or incorrect?
A. Correct
B. Incorrect
Answer: A ✅ The above statement is correct.
Explanation:
- Tawassul through one’s own righteous deeds, charity, fasting, or other acts of worship is allowed.
- The invocation always starts with Allah as the one who responds, and the deeds are mentioned only as a means, not as the entity who grants the request.
Question 10:
There exist weak hadiths, fabricated hadiths, and weak stories regarding mushrik-kafir type of Wasilah and Tawassul, as well as bidah mukaffirah and bidah which is minor shirk or kufr.
Is the above statement correct or incorrect?
A. Correct
B. Incorrect
Answer: A ✅ The above statement is correct.
Explanation:
- Many people are misled by weak or fabricated narrations that promote major shirk-kufr or minor shirk practices.
- Scholars warn against following these sources, because they can lead to bidah, minor or major shirk, and deviation from correct Tawheed.
The Three Daily Obligations For Every Muslims:
What is most important for every Muslim is to act upon the Shahadah without nullifying it completely. This means three things:
First — La ilaha: The Negation(nafi)
Do not persist in the mushrik-kafir types of belief, whether in the heart, on the tongue, or through action. This is La ilaha — the negation — negating all things which make any sane person a mushrik-kafir.
Allah says in the Glorious Quran:
"So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it." — Quran 2:256
And Allah says:
"And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger [saying]: Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." — Quran 16:36
The negation of Taghut always comes before the affirmation of iman. This is the meaning of La ilaha.
Second — il-Allah: The Affirmation
Pray the five daily prayers every day without committing shirk. This is to affirm: I must worship Allah alone, without associating anything with Him. This is called il-Allah — the ithbat, the affirmation.
Worship has many forms, but praying the five daily prayers without committing major shirk-kufr and bid'ah mukaffirah is the highest form of worshipping Allah sincerely.
The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) was asked: "Which deed is most beloved to Allah?" He said:
"Prayer performed at its proper time." — Sahih al-Bukhari, no. 527; Sahih Muslim, no. 85
And he (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
"The covenant that stands between us and them is the prayer. Whoever abandons it has committed kufr." — Sunan al-Tirmidhi, no. 2621; declared sahih by al-Albani
Allah said:
“Indeed, the prayer restrains from immorality and wrongdoing.”
(Qur’an 29:45)
And the Prophet ﷺ said:
“The first matter a servant will be brought to account for on the Day of Resurrection is the prayer.”
(Tirmidhi)
Third — Muhammadur Rasulullah: Following the Last Prophet
To follow the last Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, meaning practicing La-ilaha illAllah according to the guidance of the last Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Allah said:
“Whoever obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah.”
(Qur’an 4:80)
The last Prophet Muhammad ﷺ instructed us to stay away from shirk and to establish the prayer, and he also warned against innovations, even those bidah which have not reached the level of major shirk-kufr, because bidah is worse than sins.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever introduces into this matter of ours that which is not from it, it will be rejected.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
Then the rest of the affairs of life come after this foundation.
This is how you complete your Shahadatayn, Laa-ilaha-illAllah Muhammadur Rasulullah, every day through belief in the heart, speech and action.
Everything else in your life comes after these three. This is how you complete your Shahadatayn — La ilaha il-Allah Muhammadur Rasulullah — every single day.
