Why do people turn away from the truth?
Shaykh Salih Al Shaykh or Saleh bin Abdul-Aziz Al ash-Sheikh(born in 1959, Riyadh) mentions people don't accept the truth, boils down to two main
factors:
1. Psychological factors- Arrogance, Attitude,
Herd Mentality, Desires
2. Social factors- Pressure from
Communities, Families & Relatives, Businesses, Fame, Money, Leadership

Mu'awiyah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah said, "When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding
of Deen(Islam/Religion)." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim Reference: Riyad as-Salihin 1376].
Summary of Guide
#We don't seek knowledge to become a scholar. The purpose of seeking knowledge sincerely for Allah is to remove ignorance from ourselves & to worship Allah alone based upon knowledge. Paradise is the ultimate success.
#Knowledge is better than wealth because knowledge protects
you while you have to protect your wealth.Linguistically, knowledge is the opposite of ignorance. The Cure
for ignorance is two things 1. proof from Quran or from the Sunnah & 2. well grounded major scholars.
Ask the people of knowledge, if you do not know. Knowledge of five pillars of Islam is sufficient &
plentiful for every individual muslims.
Knowledge is a weapon either it's against you or in favour of you. If you act upon knowledge, will benefit you
here & in the hereafter similarly, if you didn't act upon it, it will be against you in this world
& in the hereafter.Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said: The Quran is a proof for you or against you.
#Knowledge of Aqeedah(Belief) is the foundation of Islam especially, Aeedah of Tawheed(pure Monotheism). Knowledge will not be learnt by one who is too shy nor one who is too proud. Whoever wants to acquire knowledge in one go, will lose it in one go. The Job of student of knowledge who studied under scholars is to give Dawah in his area or in country accordance to his level of knowledge & connect Muslims to the Scholars so that they may benefit from scholars & ask them questions.
#It is not enough just to read or to listen tapes recording, rather these are just for beneficial purposes. As for depending on internet & considering oneself a knowledgeable person(scholar), this is a huge mistake.[Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan Said]
Knowledge is not to be taken from the internet, cassetes(recording) or from the books rather knowledge is only taken from the scholars. Knowledge is through direct personal learning(Al-talaqqi), one must learn & understand from the scholars. If knowledge could be taken from the books, or whatever else takes their place, the scholars in the past, would not have travelled to scholars to learn from them & take knowledge from them.It is a must to go visit & take knowledge from the scholars even if they teach you from the books. As the muslims in the past travelled from land to land to seek knowldge from various scholars.[Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan said]
#Be aware of AI tools softwares - A New Age of
Mis-information & Fabrication.
The Godfather of AI(Dr. Hinton) leaves Google
& regrets his life’s work. He warns risks & dangers of A.I. ahead. His
immediate concern on ChatGPT/Bard/Gemini is that the internet will be flooded
with fake photographs, videos, and text, and that the typical person will “no longer be able to know
what is true anymore.”
#Knowledge Without Righteous Action is useless. For [those with] a lot of knowledge & lack of actions, then indeed it [their knowledge] is [of no value like] scattered dust & such a person will be punished before the worshippers of idols.
#Knowledge will be taken away by the death of scholars (ulema) until not one of them remains. Then the people will take ignorant person as a scholar. The scholars are the heirs(inheritors) of the prophets & they leave behind knowledge; so he who take it has taken an enormous share. Islamic Knowledge is found within the chest of the scholars. Allah said: "Ask the people of knowledge, if you don't know". If you differ in anything refer back to the propeht & those who are in authority(scholars). From the signs of the Hours is "knowledge among will be taken away" And it will be taken away by the death of scholars.

Part-1: Knowledge(علم)
1.1 Purpose of Seeking Knowledge
Imam ‘Abdullaah ibn al-Mubaarak (181H) said:
"The first step towards [seeking] knowledge is the [sincerity of] intention, then it is listening, then it is understanding [this knowledge], then it is memorising [this knowledge], then it is acting [upon this knowledge], then it is spreading [this knowledge]."
[Jaami’ Bayaan al-’Ilm wa Fadhlihi – Volume 1, Page 118] Taken from salafi-dawah
The purpose of seeking knowledge sincerely for Allah is to remove ignorance from ourselves first & to worship Allah alone based upon knowledge.
Allah said in Surah At-Tahrim[Quran 66:6]:
O you who
believe! Ward off yourselves and your families against a Fire (Hell)
Who's Successful According to Allah?
"And whoever is removed away from the Fire(Hell) and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful".[Surah Al-Imran Verse 185]
Allah said in Quran "O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever."[Quran Surah Ghafir Verse 39 ]
And on the Day of Resurrection, our situation will be like Myself! Myself! Myself![1].
Indeed, Allāh will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. - [Surah Ar-Ra'd 13:11]
How to Become a Scholar?
Answer by Teacher Shamshi from UK, London at Speakers Corner:
Shamshi(Teacher at Masjid DarruSunnah) from the UK, London said: "We don't seek knowledge to become a scholar".
One brother asks a question to shamshi at speakers corner, Hyde Park, UK-London: "How can I become a scholar?"
Our teacher Shamshi said:" We don't seek knowledge to become a scholar.
We seek knowledge to remove ignorance from ourselves first.
And He quoted example from two major scholars of Sunni Salafi Madhabs i.e Imam Malik & Imam Ahmad
Imam Ahmad Rahimahullah was asked: 'What is the meaning of seeking knowledge sincerely for Allah.' Imam Ahmad said 'to have Sincerity(Ikhlas) & Intention(Niyah) to remove ignorance from yourself & to worship Allah based upon knowledge'.
Then Alhamdullilah expanding, expanding & expanding but it's not just about a scholar. Allah raised people, there are some people who memorized many books but Allah never raised them because there is no sincerity(Ikhlas).
Imam Malik Rahimahullah when he wrote a book called "Muwatta", someone came to him & said to Imam Malik, O Imam someone else has written a book called "Muwatta", Imam Malik said, whatever it has been written for Allah sincerely, will remain & the only book that we know today is "Muwatta" by Imam Malik. SubhanAllah! So it is sincerely brothers.
One of the calamities that I(shamshi) mention to people is that they(people) refer me a scholar that what we know we are at the end of time. Seriously, I'm not just trying to be humble myself. To be humble is good but we have to be realistic with ourselves, how on earth you call me(shamshi) a scholar?
If you wanna know what is the meaning of a scholar, read the biography of scholars like Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Baz, Imam Muhammad Nasiruddin Al-Albani, Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Al ash-Sheikh(teacher of Imam bin Baz), Imam Muhammad al-Ameen ash-Shinqeeti that's when you know the meaning of scholar.
When you read their biographies then you know shamshi is a little guy.Wallahi.This is reality, how on the earth you call me a scholar, doesn't make any sense.
BarakAllah Feekum.Have that Intention"

1.2 What is Knowledge?
Shaykh Ṣaliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn says: "Linguistically Knowledge is the opposite of ignorance.".[2]
Knowledge is what Allah said, prophet Muhammad (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said & the Companions said along with the interpretation of Major Scholars of past & living.
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Seeking knowledge is a duty upon every Muslim"[3]
Knowledge of five pillars of Islam is sufficient for every individual especially for layman Muslims.
"Knowledge is better than wealth because it protects you, while you have to protect your wealth". - Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib(رضي الله عنه)
1.3 Knowledge is a Weapon
Imam Muhammad Ibne Salih Al-Uthaymin (Rahimahulla) said: "Knowledge is a weapon. Either it's for you. Or it is against you. When does it become for you? If you act upon it & it will be against you, if you didn't act upon it. The prophet Muhammad (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said: 'The Quran is a proof for you or against you.'[4]
Shaykh Abdu-Razzaq al-Badr said: Uqbah ibn 'Amr who said
[that the prophet] said:
"I fear two things for my nation; the Quran &
Milk..."
& it has also been reported in other narrations, on of which
has been authenticated by Shaykh Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani, The destruction of
my nation lies in the book & the milk.
"The destruction of my nation is
in the book" - meaning the Quaran - & the Milk"

1.4 Ignorance & Its Cure
Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jaujiya (رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ) said: "Ignorance is a deadly disease & the cure for it is two things 1. Proof from the Qur'an or from the Sunnah, and 2.who is the doctor for this medicine is well-grounded scholars".[5]
The Prophet peace be upon him said: "The only cure for ignorance is to ask/inquiry".[6]
Maymoon ibn Mihraan said, “Asking questions in a good manner is half of knowledge.”
Imam Maalik ibn Anas said, “Ibn ‘Ajlaan came to Zayd ibn Aslam to ask him about something but he became confused in it, so Zayd said to him,`Go away and learn how to ask questions and then come and ask.’”
Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah ad-Dimashqi al-Hanbalee Rahimaullah said: “And knowledge has six levels. The first of them is asking questions in a good manner ...[7]
Allah said: Ask the people of knowledge if you don't know[[8]
There are some people who are prevented from it (knowledge) because they do not ask questions in a good manner, either because they never ask questions, or because they ask a question about something when something else is more important than it. Like the person who asks about superfluous things ignorance of which will not harm him, but leaves those things which are essential for him to know. This is the condition of many of the foolish students.
Mujaahid said, “Knowledge will not be learnt by one who is too shy, nor one who is too proud.”
Two Kinds Of People Never Learn: The Shy & The Arrogant-by Al-ʿAllāmah Muḥammad Amān bn ʿAlī Al-Jāmī (رحمه الله)
Al-Khateeb al-Baghdaadee said, “And it is befitting that shyness should not prevent a person from asking questions about something that has happened to him. But if he does become too shy and embarrassed to ask a question to the scholar, then he should give his question to one he feels at home with or one he feels relaxed with for him to ask the scholar on his behalf and to inform him about its ruling.” [9]
Shaykh Salih Al Fawzan Said: "A person is excused by way of ignorance if he resided in the "majahil" of the Earth, (lands that are remote, isolated, obscure etc) & no Dawah (the call to Islam) reached him, nor the Quran or Sunnah, so he is excused by way of ignorance".[10]
1.5 Sufficient Amount of Knowledge[11]
The presenter asked Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan: What is the sufficient amount of knowledge that is upon the student of knowledge to learn? And should he continue to seek knowledge, O Shaykh?
The Shaykh replied: "The Muslim must - as an individual obligation - learn what
will make his deen(Islam) upright, such as his Creed(Aqidah/Belief), Salah(Prayer), Zakat(Charity),
Fasting(Sawm), Hajj(Pilgrimage) & Umrah.
He must learn about the five pillars
of Islam.
And whatever is in addition to that is a communal obligation; when a
sufficient number of people carry it out, there is no sin on the rest. And when they all leave it, they are
all sinful Na'am(yes)".

1.6 Aqidah(belief) is the Foundation of Islam[12]
Questioner:
This is a question from one of the
scholarship students, he is asking about those who say the affair of ʿAqīdah (creed and belief)
has become subsidiary and we must put it aside in order that we may unite against the external
enemy.
Shaykh Ṣāliḥ Ibn Fawzān
al-Fawzān:
This statement is false and Allāh’s ﷻ refuge
is sought. ʿAqīdah is the foundation! ʿAqīdah is the foundation
and basis of this religion – the correct and sound ʿaqīdah is the basis of this
religion.
Anyone who neglects ʿaqīdah is neglecting the foundation of
the religion. It is the foundation of this religion – the testimony that none has the right to be
worshiped in truth except Allāh ﷻ and that Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allāh is the
first thing that enters a person into Islām, however it is not sufficient to simply pronounce the
testimony of faith, rather he must know its meaning and act upon what is necessitated by it inwardly and
outwardly.

Did The Sahaabah(Companion) Ever Differ In Matters Of Aqeedah(Belief)?[13]
Questioner:
May Allah Bless You, honorable Shaykh. There
are those who come forth & claim that sahabah differed in matters of Aqeedah. What is the ruling on
this? Please give us a fatwa, May you be rewarded.
Shaykh Salih Al Luhaydan said:Astagfirullah! No one says this
except a misguided innovator ! He says that sahabah differed. The Sahabah were The People of Aqeedah.
If
there was any disagreement between them, then it was merely in some of the affairs ijtihaad(individual
educated judgment) related to deeds.
As for the affairs of Aqeedah - the Allah is One, & that He is
All-Hearing & All-Seeing, & that He does whatever He wills, that He is the Supreme creator, that He
is the creator of everything & that He is aware of everything.
No! They didn't differ! And no one
brings of this affair, except a caller to fitnah. Either he disguises himself with his claim that he is from
the people of goodness.
He may have known some good & started to speak with the good he knows, to
mislead the people & drag them into the falsehood that he is inclined to & is eager in
spreading.
Or if he is from those who are deceived, let him seek Allah's forgiveness & repent to
him & let him return to the people of knowledge & ask them.
And if he is from those who liked to
the conceal their agendas & cover their objectives, let him be exposed so the people can be protected
from his evil."

Salafi in Aqeedah & Ikhwani in Manhaj? Shaykh al-Albani & Shaykh Al-Jaamee
Shaykh al-Albani and Shaykh Al-Jaamee refute the notion that a Salafi can be Salafi in Aqeedah and Ikhwani in Manhaj. Salafiyyah has one Aqeedah and one Manhaj. Ikhwanul-mulsimoon are a deviant sect, whether it be in aqeedah or manhaj.[14]
Be Aware of those individuals or parties who pretend to be from Salafi
Salafi Dawah Attracts People(Awam) by Quoting the Quran, Hadith, Sahaba.
So at
first, they attract people & when the Muslims are in, they teach their agenda.
For Example: The Question was asked to Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan that:[15]
Questioner: "I study with some of the students of knowledge and they say, "We are upon the manhaj of the Scholars of the da`wah, but we do not take from the Scholars, and they slander Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah, and adh-Dhahabee, and they warn from al-Aqeedat ut-Tahaawiyyah, and from studying and explaining it, and they judge at-Tahaawee with tabdee`. So what is your view about them, and is what they say true and correct such that we can take it?"
Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan said:
"They say [that they
are] (from Ahl us-Sunnah), yet they revile the Scholars? Where, Where Ahl us-Sunnah? They are liars; they
are not from Ahl us-Sunnah!
But they say "from Ahl u-Sunnah" from the angle of lying and
concealment. Otherwise, they show enmity to Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah, and they show enmity to the
explainer of at-Tahaawiyyah, and they show enmity to the Scholars, so they are not from Ahl us-Sunnah, but
they say "from Ahl us-Sunnah" from the angle of deception. So beware of them and remain distant
from them!"
End Of Speech
Is Tawheed is the first & foremost Aqidah(Belief) of Islam & Muslim
Yes, Tawheed is the first & foremost foundation of Islamic Beliefs. The Matter of Tawheed is very important [Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih Al-Uthaymin]
Questioner:
Should we start our call by freeing ourselves
from Dā`ish, or by calling to Salafism as a whole and explaining it?[16]
Shaykh Sulaymān ibn Abdīllah Abul-Khayl:
The answer to this
question is – start by calling to Tawhīd and exclusive devotion to Allāh as we have
established during the lecture, because starting with that is acting in accordance with the Sunnah of the
Messengers, the disciples of the Messenger of Allāh, and the rightly guided Imāms till this
present day, for their work and the core of their concern is Tawhīd and connecting people to Allāh
– and strengthening their link with Him.
This is because for anyone who is able to achieve this
and establish it, other matters, such as warning against evil and these sectarian organisations, parties and
groups that have risen against us in recent times, will be easy. As for Salafiyyah, it means the followers
of the Pious Predecessors (as-Salaf us-Ṣāliḥ) – the disciples and those who followed
them until the present day and until the Day of Rising as well. This is because the Prophet ﷺ said:
‘There will always be a group amongst my nation victorious following the truth, unharmed by those who
oppose them until the Hour comes.’ It was asked, ‘who are they?’ He said, ‘They are
those whose belief is what I believe and what my disciples believe.’ For this reason, anyone who comes
to us claiming Salafism or adherence to this methodology, while having connections with sectarian parties
and institutions or engages in acts that oppose this way and methodology, will not be considered as one who
follows the methodology of Ahl us-Sunnah wal-Jamā`ah and the Pious Predecessors. Anyone who traces the
path, state of affairs, and history of the Pious Predecessors, will find that which brings peace of mind and
joy to the heart, and boosts optimism and charity that serves this religion and belief.
Sheikh
ul-Islām, Ibn Taymiyyah says: ‘Ahl us-Sunnah wal-Jamā`ah, who are the Salaf
us-Ṣāliḥ, follow the truth and show mercy to Aḷḷāh’s
creatures.’ Salafism is not a mere statement to be uttered, banner to be raised or an aspect of
materialism over which people compete with one another and criticise one another. Rather, it is a flawless
path, an upstanding methodology and conformity to what came from the Head of all messengers and
Allāh’s Commandments in His Lucid Book.

1.7 Knowledge in One Go
"Whoever doesn't protect the foundation; is prevented from reaching [their aim in knowledge] & whoever wants to attain knowledge in one go, will lose it in one go"[17].
It was also said, "Over Crowding the Knowledge in the Ear Misguides One's Understanding".[18]
Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan said:
Whoever wants to take
all the knowledge at once, he will miss out on all the knowledge.
He will not
attain anything.
However, whoever takes it gradually...similarly like a
road.
The road is traversed in stages, gradually until the destination is reached.
Likewise, seeking
knowledge is in stages until you reach the objective you desire.
Everything has a
path and methodology. If you neglect it, you'll not attain what you
intended from it.
On the contrary(he would say) " "Be you
Rabbâniyyûn (learned men of religion who practise what they know and also preach others),
because you are teaching the Book, and you are studying it."" - [Quran
Surah Al-Imran Verse 79]
So a beginner student of knowledge, young in age comes & one teaches him
al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, al-Tirmidhi or al-Mughni in Fiqh. This one is not a Rabbani. He is not a
Rabbani. This is not the path for cultivation & teaching. It's not like this. Take them gradually. Like a child
In the beginning, the child is only
nourished with milk. He is not able to digest food. Then he is gradually given food. Then he is weaned from
milk & gradually given food.
Likewise is the case for the beginning student of knowledge. He is like
a child.Don't overload him whereby you give him a lot of food while he's a child just being
weaned.Give him gradually, a spoonful or two spoonful.Likewise is the case with knowledge, give him little
by little.Give him a little bit of grammar.Give him a little bit of Fiqh.Give him a little bit of Aqidah
& the knowledge of Tawheed.Give him little by little for every science until he progresses.Until his
information develops gradually"

Shaykh ul-Islam Ibn Taymīyyah al-Ḥarrānī
(raḥimahullāh) brings in the muqaddimah of Uṣūl

understood them and then acted upon them and taught them to others, we were given knowledge and
action.

1.8 Job of Student of Knowledge(Talibe-Ilm)
Even well known scholars like Imam Muhammad Nasir-uddin Al-Albani, One of The Scholars of The World of Our Time. He Used To Cry When People Praised Him.And he used to say, "I'm Just A Seeker of Knowledge"[19]
Not everyone who has knowledge of Islam is Student of Knowledge or Scholars. It's upon every muslim to learn the fundamentals of Islam i.e five pillars of Islam.
Proper Student of Knowledge studies under the sitting of scholars, travelling to scholars, eating & learning from the scholars even if the scholars teach from the book.Seeking knowledge has stages & levels as Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan said. It's a proper profession.
If the objective of seeking knowledge involve fame, money & status then it's not the knowledge that is acceptable in the sight of Allah Tabarak-wa-tala.
As I mentioned above, the purpose of seeking knowledge should be: to remove ignorance from ourselves & to worship Allah based upon knowledge then expand within your family then relatives then communities....so the priority first should be to educate yourself so that you can worship Allah correctly just as Allah wants through the teaching of prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, Companions & those who adhere to the Salaf(pious predecessors of three generation whom prophet Muhammad peace be upon him praise them i.e Sahaba-comapnions of prophet,, Tabaiyin-Student of Sahaba & Taba-Tabiyeen- student of Tabayin).
So what is the duty of a Seeker of
Knowledge?
let's go to Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan
Questioner [Shaykh Sulaymān ibn Abdullah Abul-Khayl]:
It seems that this question is from the scholarship students - may Allah grant them a long life
and make them beneficial. We thank them for their attendance, earnestness, their efforts and participation
in many lectures and events.
He asks; is it upon the new student to give dawah in
his country and to connect the people to callers who are upon the Prophetic Sunnah?[20]
Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān: Yes, he should do so. He should call to Islam in accordance to the level of his knowledge
and convey it to them. Likewise, upon him is to direct the people to the scholars and callers who are upon
the truth, in order that they may benefit from them and ask them questions.

1.9 Islamic Knowledge from the Internet
It is not enough just to read or to listen tapes recording, rather these are just for beneficial purposes.
As the muslims in the past travelled from land to land to seek knowldge from various scholars.[Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan said]
Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan on Frauds Knowledge
Shaykh Fowzaan on Frauds Who Pretend to Have Islamic Knowledge
The great scholar, Shaykh Saalih al-Fowzaan (may Allaah preserve him), was
asked:
What is “ta’aalum”? And what is your advice to the
youth who face trials due to people engaged in ta’aalum?
Shaykh Salih
Al-Fawzan Replied:
Ta’aalum is to feign knowledge. Feigning knowledge. It
is when a person claims knowledge, while he is not knowledgeable in reality. He has not taken any knowledge
directly from the scholars. Rather, he merely learned some things from books, solely from reading. He lacks
sound fundamentals to build upon; he just reads things in books and proceeds according to his own
understanding, likely erring more than being correct. This is a person of ta’aalum. He is a danger to
himself (firstly) and to everyone (at large), since he plays games with the religion of Allaah, the Mighty
and Majestic.
If a man came out and said to the people, “I’m a physician, I’m a
doctor, and I treat (the sick),” while he does not have any medical qualifications, no medical
qualifications at all, would he be allowed to treat (the sick)? Would he be allowed to perform surgeries,
opening patients up and performing heart operations? He would not be allowed to do that, because it would be
harmful. So how can a person of ta’aalum be allowed to play with the religion?! Playing with the
religion is more serious than meddling with people’s bodies!
So they must fear Allah and not
speak about Allah without knowledge, for Allah has made speaking about Him without knowledge worse than
shirk (polytheism)! Say, “My Lord has only forbidden immoralities, what is
apparent of them and what is concealed, sin, oppression without right, that you associate partners with
Allaah which He has sent down no authority for, and that you say about Allaah what you do not have knowledge
of.”
(Al A’raaf 7:33)

Fowzaan on Frauds Who Pretend to Have Islamic Knowledge ]
Can we learn from the one who learnt from books without taking from the scholars directly?
Noble Shaykh, May Allah grant you success, he ( the questionare)
says:
"A man teaches the people Islamic legislation & the Aqeedah (creed) of the salaf
(pious predecessors) despite the fact he has not directly taken knowledge from the shaykh & the
scholars.Should knowledge be taken from such an individual?"
Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan replied: As long as he doesn't have a firm grounding attained from the scholars. He is not
except a student of pages & books, so knowledge should
not be taken from him because he doesn't understand the methodology of the salaf.
And he
won't understand except by way of learning with the scholars. ANd by taking directly from the scholars.
This knowledge is acquired by taking it directly from the scholars, not from reading alone.
Reading
is helpful but it is not to be relied on. A person such as this individual is reffered to as Mutta'alim(one who acts like he has a knowledge).
So knowledge is
not taken from him.
End Of Speech - [ Should
knowledge be taken from him? Sheikh Saalih Al-Fawzaan - حفظه

YouTube: YouTube should not be taken as a source of knowledge. However, if one wishes to benefit from audios (or videos) uploaded to YouTube, take from only known and trusted channels that have tazkiyāt from Salafi scholars and shaikhs. Do not take risks with your religion. Get into the habit now, and prepare yourselves for the upcoming era of misinformation.[Shaykh Abu Khadijah - Spubs founder]
Be Aware!!! of AI (Artificial Intelligence) Software Changes Realities - A New Age Of Fabrication Has Arrived by Shaykh AbuKhadijah[21]
Fabricating hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the āthār (narrations) of the Salaf is not (of course) a new phenomenon, neither is ascribing statements to the scholars that they never uttered. Today, however, the technology allows for more sophisticated methods of lying and deception.
So, I enjoin upon you to verify recordings that come from untrustworthy or unknown
social media accounts (even if they claim to be upon Salafiyyah). Speak to the scholars and shaikhs before
accepting speech, or forwarding their [supposed] words, and refer to their books and printed
fatāwā. Present statements from unknown sources to those who know. Imām al-Awzāʿee
(died 157 AH) said:
“We would hear a hadeeth and then present it to
our scholars just as one presents a counterfeit coin (dirham) to a teller—so what they accepted, we
accepted and what they rejected, we rejected.” (See al-Jarh wat-Taʿdeel, 2/21)
Take your knowledge from authentic verifiable sites. For example Shaikh Ibn Bāz’s, Shaikh Ibn ʿUthaymeen’s, Shaikh Al-Fawzān’s, Shaikh Rabee’s, Shaikh ʿAbdul-Muhsin’s (etc.) official websites and social media accounts, those run by known Salafi shaikhs and students. Let’s bring to an end the era of random surfing and sharing affairs related to our Deen.
By taking this approach, we are actually going back to the original methodology of
verification through chains of transmission as close as possible to the source.
Know that liars and
imposters appeared early on in the Ummah. Abu Hātim ibn Hibbān, the great scholar of hadeeth (d.
354 AH) said in his Kitāb Al-Majrooheen minal-Muhadditheen (The Book of the Abandoned Ones from the
Narrators of Hadeeth): “I heard Abdullāh ibn ʿAli Al-Jabuli say: I heard Abdullah ibn Yazeed
Al-Muqree say: ‘A man from Ahlul-Bidʿah who recanted from his innovation
said: ‘Investigate from whom you take the hadeeth, for indeed if we took an opinion, we would invent a
hadeeth to support it.’”
Muhammad Ibn Seereen (d. 110 AH)
mentioned the importance of sourcing the narrations. He said: “…but
when the conflict and discord occurred, they (Ahlus-Sunnah) would ask: ‘Name to us your men’. So
Ahl us-Sunnah would be considered and their narrations accepted—and Ahlul-Biʿdah would be
considered and their narrations not accepted.” (Saheeh Muslim,
Al-Muqaddimah: 27)
Furthermore, ʿAbdullāh Ibn Mubārak (d. 181 AH) said: “The isnād (chain of narration) is from the Religion—were it not for the
isnād, anyone could say whatever he wanted to say.” (Saheeh Muslim,
Al-Muqaddimah: 32)
This shows that the narrations of people would not be accepted except after
knowing them, and knowing their isnād (chain of narration)—so, let us return back to the
methodology of the Salaf. Today’s equivalent in the world of social media and the internet would be to
follow and take from known scholars, shaikhs, students of knowledge and duʿāt whose integrity,
trustworthiness, truthfulness, adherence to the Sunnah and the Manhaj of the Salaf is established through
recommendations.

1.9.0 Seeking Knowledge Vs Serving Parents
One of the student of knowledge, Asked Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan specific question
related to him.
The Question was presented to Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan or
Fowzan that
A student from Afghanistan & studying here in Makkah says:
"I want to learn more as I am student in
Dar ul Hadith but my parents are old in age. And they
contacted me asking me to back to help them. I am now confused between returning to the country & seek
islamic knowledge here. What is your directive."
Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan
replied: Go back to your parents to serve & assist them because it is
obligatory upon you! Yes(Naam).
End Of Speech
Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan said[22]: "Disobedience(to parents) is a major sin from the major sins, it comes after
shirk(polytheism), because the right of the parent comes after the right of Allah
Worship Allâh and join none with Him (in worship); and do good to parents[Quran Surah Nisa Verse 36] In many verses, so disobedience (to parents) is a major sin from the
major sins,
So it is upon the child, male or female to repent to Allah, if he is disobedient to his
parents, he should repent to Allah & should return to being good to the parents & he should seek
forgiveness about what occured from him. Na'am"

My Parents do not Allow me to Travel to Seek Knowledge | Shaykh Zayd Al-Madkhali [23]
Questionare:
"A person wants to travel to a Muslim Country in order to seek
knowledge, however his parents refuse this from him. So what is upon him?"
Shaykh Zayd ibn Muhammad Al-Madhkhali said:
"It is upon him to
try & convince his parents that he wants to seek knowledge which is obligatory upon every
muslim.
So when he has sought knowledge he should return back to his parents.
He should teach
& tell them to migrate from the land of the non-muslims if they have the
abilty. A complete migration in which they don't think about returning to the
non-muslim land after it.
It is upon him to clarify to his parents that they have the ability to
migrate then it's an obligation upon them to migrate. Until they reside in a muslim country & it is
upon them to choose the best land which is ruled by Islam"

Today's Disobedient and Undutiful Children Towards Parents | Shaykh Sālih al-Fawzān حفظه الله [24]
Question: Could you please advice the general Muslims & youth with respect to disobeying the parents & it's causes, as well as the rise in killings & lewd acts in these times.
Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan Replied:
This stems from bad upbringing. Killings,
disobedience to parents & sins, all of this is from bad upbringing & neglect of the youtth by their
parents, because the parents are busy away from their children, the father is busy with the dunya(worldly life), companies, business
dealings & doesn't know about his children's affairs.
And the mother is usually busy with
her job, her work & leaving her home.
And who will the child be with? He will be with a nanny,
with a stranger that has no righteousness. So this is the result of bad upbringing &
cultivation.
It is therefore an obligation upon parents to look after their children with proper
cultivation & sound guidance. This is on one hand.
On the other hand, (from the causes is) what
they hear & read in the media from that which turns them away from (being dutiful to their) parents, the
wife away from her husband, calling to "freedom"
& abandonment of restraint & the like of that.
This has an impact on them & causes hatred
in their hearts & dislike for their relatives. This is undubtedly from the causes.
And the third
reason without a doubt is the weakness of faith in the souls & the lack of fear of Allah, the Mighty
& Magestic.
There are many reasons & we ask Allah for safety & well
being.

Status of Parents in Hadith & Quran[25]
'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'as (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) of Allah and said, "I swear allegiance to you for emigration and
Jihad, seeking reward from Allah." He (ﷺ) said, "Is any of your parents alive?" He
said, "Yes, both of them are alive." He (ﷺ) then asked, "Do you want to seek reward
from Allah?" He replied in the affirmative. Thereupon Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
"Go back to your parents and keep good company with them". [Al-Bukhari and
Muslim].
In another narration it is reported that a person came to Messenger
of Allah (ﷺ) and sought his permission to participate in Jihad. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked,
"Are your parents alive?" He replied in the affirmative. The Prophet a(ﷺ) said,
"(You should) consider their service as Jihad."

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:
A man came to
the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: I came to you to take the oath of allegiance to you on
emigration, and I left my parents weeping. He (the Prophet) said: Return to them and make them laugh as you
made them weep.[26]
And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to
your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of
disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour.
[Quran 17:23]
And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord!
Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young."
[Quran
17:24]
And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in
weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years - give thanks to Me and to your parents. Unto Me is the final
destination.
[Quran 31:14]
Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) mentioned the greatest
sins or he was asked about the greatest sins. He said, "To join partners in worship with Allah; to kill
a soul which Allah has forbidden to kill; and to be undutiful or unkind to one's
parents." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "Shall I inform you of the
biggest of the great sins? That is the forged statement or the false witness." Shu`ba (the
sub-narrator) states that most probably the Prophet said, "the false witness." - [Sahih al-Bukhari
5977]
Allah’s Messenger said: “Allah enjoins you to treat your mothers kindly.” He
said it three times. Then he said: “Allah enjoins you to treat your fathers kindly, Allah enjoins you
to treat the closest relatives and the next closest kindly.” (Ibn Majah 3661 (this wording),
At-Tirmidhi, 1897. Declared hasan by Al-Albāni)
It was narrated from Mu’awiyah bin
Jāhimah As-Sulami, that Jāhimah came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: “O Messenger of
Allah! I want to go out and fight (in Jihad) and I have come to ask your advice.” He said: “Do
you have a mother?” He said: “Yes.” He said: “Then stay with her, for Paradise is beneath her feet.” (An-Nisā’i, 3104.
Declared hasan- saheeh by Al-Albāni)
The rights of the father are immense too and are never to be neglected.
Abu Dardā’ heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say that:“The father is the middle door of Paradise. So it is up to you whether you take advantage
of it or not.” - (Ibn Majah, 3663)
Abdullah bin ‘Amr narrated
that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The Lord’s pleasure is in the
father’s pleasure, and the Lord’s anger is in the father’s anger.” - (Tirmidhi, 1899)
“There are three supplications that will be answered without any
doubt: The supplication of one who has been wronged, the supplication of the traveller and the supplication of a father for his child.” - (Ibn Majah
3862)
There occurs in another hadīth that Allah’s Messenger (salallāhu
‘alaihi wasallam) stated:
رضا الله في
رضا الوالدين وسخط
الله في سخط
الوالدين
“The
pleasure of Allah lies in the pleasing of one’s parents and anger of Allah lies in the angering of
one’s parents.”
The questioner asks: Indeed he [i.e. this person] had a
disagreement with his father about some wealth and this led him to hate his father, shouted at him and
refused to sit with him; so is he sinful for boycotting his father, who is now very old and
ill?
Answer: What this son has done to his
father is Uqooq [i.e. he’s being undutiful to parents] and it is a major sin, and we seek
Allaah’s protection from it. This son [exposes] himself to a great danger and it is obligated on him
to repent to Allaah. He should return to his father and make him happy, seek his pardon, seek to please him
and honour him. Allaah [The Most High] said: [
وَاعْبُدُوا
اللَّهَ وَلَا
تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ
شَيْئًا ۖ
وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ
إِحْسَانًا – Worship Allah and join none
with Him in worship, and do good to parents] [4:36]
And Allaah (Glorified be He and free is He from
all imperfections) said: [وَإِن
But if they (both) strive
with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not,
but behave with them in the world kindl] [31:15] Good behaviour towards parents is required of a person
towards his non-Muslim parents, then how about if a person’s parent is a Muslim!
End Of Speech - [An Excerpt from ‘Fadaa’il
Al-A’maal pages 16-17’ by Shaikh Muhammad Bin Abdillaah As-Subayyil (rahimahullaah). slightly
paraphrased][27]
ʿAbdullāh Ibn ʿAmr Ibn Al-ʿĀṣ (raḍī
Allāhu ʿanhū) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Allāh’s pleasure is in pleasing the parents, and Allāh’s displeasure is in
displeasing the parents.” (At-Tirmidhī 1899, Ibn Hibbān 429,
Al-Ḥākim 4/151, declared ṣaḥīḥ by Al-Albānī)
There occurs
in another ḥadīth that Allāh made disobedience and mistreatment of one’s mother
unlawful. The Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Verily, Allāh has made unlawful
for you disobedience to your mothers and to bury your daughters
alive…” (Bukhārī 2408, Muslim 593)
Allah Said in Quran "Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the final destination. But if they
endeavour to make you associate with Me others in worship, that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey
them but accompany them in this world with appropriate kindness…" -
(Surah Luqmān: 14-15)
So, even non-Muslim parents should be accompanied in this world with goodness and
kindness. So one should spend on them, and be kind, respectful and dutiful towards them but they are not to
be obeyed if it entails disobedience to Allāh, the Most High.
ʿAlī Ibn Abī
Ṭālib (raḍī Allāhu ʿanhū) narrated that Allāh’s Messenger
(ﷺ) said, “There is no obedience to the creation if it involves
disobedience to the Creator.” (Aḥmad 1090 and it is
ṣaḥīḥ).
He (ﷺ) also said, “There is no
obedience when it involves sin. Rather obedience is only in what is good.” (Bukhārī 7257, Muslim 1840).
If your father commands you to abandon the
prayers, then you are not to obey him. If he commands you to smoke, you are not to obey him. Likewise, if he
commands you to buy cigarettes, you are not to obey him. These are sinful acts and are not considered
disobedience or disrespectful. Indeed, if you were to obey them in sin, that is disobedience. Upon you is to
obey your parents in what is permissible and good, and in that which does not involve sin.
In a
narration of Abu Sa’īd al-Khudri, a man migrated from Yemen to Madinah, to Allāh’s
Messenger (ﷺ) and sought his permission to remain and perform Jihād. So the Prophet (ﷺ)
asked him, “Did you seek your parents’ permission?” He replied, “No.” Then
the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, “Then return back to them and seek their
permission. If they give you permission, you may return. Otherwise stay and serve them.” - [Abu Dawūd, 2530] So he sent him back to his parents
Does Differing with one's Parents Regarding Marriage & Work is Disobedience? - Shaykh Arafat bn Hasan Al-Muhammadi[28]
He says: What is the guiding principle regarding disobeying parents?
Does
differing between the son and his parents regarding a particular matter make the son disobedient?
For example, if the parents want their son to work with so-and-so & the son wants to
work with so-and-so [i.e someone else], despite the fact that he sees that to be beneficial. It is
permissible for you to perform this action.
The Shaykh replied: In
these situation, strive to choose [your] parents pleasure. Strive, strive & strive to make your parents
pleased with you regarding what you want.
If you strived & tried your outmost best regarding
that, however, they were not pleased, in this state, in reality, if there is a benefit [in your opinion]
it's not obligatory for you to obey them in that.
In every matter, like marriage and work,
it's not obligatory for you to obey them in these affairs. However if you obey them, it would be more
perfect & better. However [as for being], obligatory, it's not obligation.

1.9.1 Knowledge Without Action
Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan said: And it has been reported
in an authentic hadith, that there are from amongst the student of knowledge those who will be punished
before the worshipping of idols.
And they (the student of knowledge) [will] say: "starting with
us before the worshipper of idols!"
And [in response] it will be said to them: "He who
knows is not like he who doesn't know"
[So] pay ateention to this. And [so], Allah blesses
[the] righteous actions [of those] with little knowledge.
And as for [those with] a lot of knowledge
& lack of actions, then indeed it [their knowledge] is [of no value like] scattered dust & such a
person will be punished before the worshippers of idols.

Not acting upon knowledge leads to difficulty in remembering it - Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih Al-Uthaymin Rahimahullah[29]
With regards to the student of knowledge acting upon his knowledge, Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al ‘Uthaymeen rahimahullaah comments:
Therefore it is a must that (he) act upon what he has knowledge of – because
if he does not act upon his knowledge he becomes from the first of those who will be
burned by the Fire on the Day of Resurrection:
The scholar who does not act
upon his knowledge
Will be punished before the worshippers of
idols
This is one aspect – if he does not act upon his knowledge, it
will result in disappointment regarding the knowledge, and no barakah (blessing), and nisyaan
(forgetfulness) of the knowledge… And therefore it was reported from Imaam ‘Alee radi Allaahu
‘anhu that he said: Knowledge calls out for action, so either it is responded
to or else it departs…
So what is it that departs? Knowledge, and
this is something clear – because if you act upon (your) knowledge, you will remember it each time you
act.
And I will strike an example for you – that of a man who knows the description of the
salaat (prayer) from the Sunnah. So he begins to act upon it whenever he prays. Will he forget what he has
learned? He will not forget because he keeps on repeating it. However, if he were to leave off acting upon
it, he would forget. And this is an evidence which can be perceived (by us) – that acting upon
knowledge necessitates firmness upon (that) knowledge, and that (the person) does not forget
it.

1.9.2 Importance of Scholars
Knowledge is an attribute. It doesn't exist by itself. It has to be embedded in something. Have you ever seen knowledge walking on the street? For example, when knowledge is attributed to someone we say this person is knowledgeable.
Knowledge will be taken away by the death of scolars(ulema) until not one of them
remains. Then the people will take ignorant person as scholars.[30]
The scholars are the heirs(inheritors) of the prophets & they leave behind knowledge; so he
who take it has taken an enormous share.[31]
Islamic Knowledge is found within the chest of the scholars.
Allah said: "Ask the people
of knowledge, if you don't know".[32]
If you differ in anything refer back to the propeht & those who are in
authority(scholars).[33]
From the signs of the Hours is "knowledge among will be taken away"[34] And it will be taken away by the death of scholars.
There are different levels of
scholars & students of knowledge. In the time of Fitan, we go back to the Major Scholars who are old in
age & knowledge like Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan, Imam Rabi Hadi Al-Madhkhalee, Shaykh Raslan. When Prophet
Muhammad (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ
عَلَيْهِ
وَسَلَّمَ) passed away, Muslims rush towards Imam Abu
Bakr Siddique (رضي الله عنه) even though
Imam Omar (رضي الله عنه) is also from major
scholars but Imam Abu Bakr is senior. That's why the scholars derived from this hadith that: In times of
fitnah we should go back to the senior scholars who are old in age & knowledge. But unfortunately,
today's calamity(Musibah) is when we see young Muslims in knowledge speak from their desire without
referring back to scholars.
Allah said: "It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves
that fear Allâh."[35]
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said:
This indicates that everyone who
fears Allaah has knowledge, which is true; it does not indicate that everyone who has knowledge fears
Him.[36]
Abdullah reported: Ibn Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “Knowledge is not knowing many narrations. Verily, knowledge is the fear of Allah.”[37]
ʿAbdullāh Ibn Masʿūd (radiyallāhu ʿanhu)
explained,
".....when the scholars have passed away and died, the people
will all be at the same level – so they will not enjoin the good, nor forbid the evil, and at that
point, they will be ruined."[38]
ʿAbdullāh Ibn ʿAmr Ibn Al-ʿĀs said: I heard Allah’s
Messenger (salallāhu ʿalayhi wasallam) saying:

“Allah does not take away the knowledge by taking it away from the
hearts of the people, but He takes it away by the death of the Scholars till no Scholar remains. Then people
will take as their leaders the ignoramuses who when asked will give their verdict (fatwa) without knowledge.
So they will go astray themselves and will lead the people astray.”(Reported
by Al-Bukhārī, no. 100) In a wording, he said, “There will remain
the ignoramuses from whom verdicts (fatwas) will be sought. They will give verdicts based upon their own
opinions, so they will go astray and will lead the people astray.” (Al-Bukhāri no. 7307)
When the scholars are abandoned or they pass away,
people turn to the ignorant ones, the pretenders and Ahlul-Bidʿah who lead the people into ruin. Ibn
Masʿūd said, “Learn knowledge before it is taken away, and it is
taken away by the death of the scholars. Beware of going to extremes and delving too deeply, and beware of
innovations. Upon you is to adhere to the ancient affair.”[39]
Abdullah Ibn Mubārak (d. 181H, rahimahullāh) said: “Whoever belittles the scholars has lost his Hereafter. Whoever belittles the rulers has lost his
worldly affairs. Whoever belittles his brothers has lost his honour.”[40]
Living Schoalrs are not Safe from Fitnah(Trials & Tribulations) - Ibn Masood
Abdullah ibn Masood(رضي الله

"Whoever wants to follow a path, let him follow
the path of one who has died, for the living are not safe from fitnah."[41]
People of Knowledge without Action is very dangerous

Is Accepting A Scholar Speech Considered Blind Following? - Answer by Shaykh Muqbil[43] & Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan[44]
First Question to Shaykh Muqbil: The
questioner asks, "There are those who say that accepting the statements of the scholars about the
people is considered blind following so what is the validity of this statement?"
Answer from Shaykh Muqbil:
Al'Allahmah Muqbil bin Hadi al-Wadee said: All
praise is due to Allah & the prayers and peace be upon our Messanger Muhammad peace be upon him &
upon his family & companions & those who adhere, I testify that nothing has the right to be
worshipped except Allah alone & He has no partners & I testify that Muhammad is his servant &
messanger. To proceed:
This is old speech from some of the
people of innovation,
As-Sa'aanee has mentioned in his
book "Irshaadun-Nuqqaad IIaa
Tayseril-I'jtihaad" from some of the people of innovation who
said,
'You forbid from blind following & yet you blind follow Yahyaa
Ibn Ma'een, so if Yahyaa says about a man, 'He is trustworthy', you'll say
'Trustworthy' & if al-Bukharee says, 'This hadeeth is authentic', you'll say: 'It is authentic', so
you are blind followers.
So as-San'aanee Rahimahullah answered this in his tremendous book
"Irshaadun-Nuqqaad IIaa Tayseril-I'jtihaad".
He(as-San'anee) said, "Indeed this is not blind following rather it's
only the acceptance of the narration of trustworthy & Allah says in his Nobile Book, 'O you who
believe! If a Fâsiq (liar - evil person) comes to you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm
people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done.[Surah Hoojurat
49:6]'"
So this verse is understood that if a trustworthy person comes to us we
accept his information.
Yes if a weak person speaks about an Imaam from the Imaams then they
don't accept his speech
Imaam ad-Dhahabee, may Allah have mercy
on him, after mentioning the critiscism of al-'Uqaylee about 'Alee Ibnul - Madeenee &
Abdur-Razzaq' & a group of scholars, ad-Dhahabee refuted him saying, Do you
have any sense O 'Uqaylee! You come to the great scholars of Islam & speak against them while they
are beteer than you', or with this meaning.
So if a weak person speaks about an Imam
from the great Imams his speech is not accepted.
an Example of that is the speech of al-Qardawee(misguided individula, he's
dead now) about ash-Shaykh Ibn Baaz that 'Abdul-Majeed
ar-Raymee' read in Jaami'ud-Dawah,
Jaami'ud-Da'wah that spread from it sunan until it
fell in to the hands of 'Abdul-Majeed ar-Raymee' & he infected it,
Abdul-Majeed read the
statement of al-Qardawee supoorting it & some from the ignorant Yemenis who is listened to him left out
& were cursing ash-Shaykh ib Baaz Rahimahullah.
I(Shaykh Muqbil) was informed of this by the
trustworthy brother 'Abdur-Rahman Ibn-Iyaash' so if one of no standing like 'Abdul-Majeed'
or 'Yoosuf al_Qardawee' comes & defames an Imam from the Imaams of the muslims, we don't
accept it whatsoever.
Yes also the words of Hafiz ad-Dhahabee: 'Abul-Fath al-Azdee' Muhammad
ibnul-Husayn comes & declares some of the Imaams to be weak, so Imam ad-Dhahabee, says 'This one is
an Imam & Abdul-Fath al-Azdee is weak.'
So what? What is important is that al-Jarh wat-Tadeel
is not an affair of blind following....

Do We Blind
Follow in Affairs of Creed? Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan
Question:Is it permissible to blind
follow in affairs of Creed?
Answer by Shaykh Salih
Al-Fawzan:
No, blind following are in affairs of Jurisprudence(Madhab) for the
ignorant person, affairs of Jurisprudence for the ignorant person.
Allah The
Most High said, "Ask the people of knowledge if you don't
know.(Al-Anbiya:7)"
However in creed, then there is no blind following, it's a must for a
