#63. Means of Getting Closer to Homosexual Acts
Today, some people believe that a person can be born homosexual, and through this belief, they justify their sexual inclinations. However, Islam teaches that every child is born upon the fitrah (natural disposition), meaning they are created with inclinations that are pleasing to God and aligned with the natural functions of the human body.
With that in mind, some Muslim scholars state that homosexuality results from a corruption of this natural state, which can be influenced by various events and environmental factors, such as:
- being raised with the idea that there is no difference between the two sexes;
- constant exposure to homosexuality, leading to its normalization;
- being influenced by theories and ideas that oppose science, nature, and sound reasoning (e.g., that two people of the same sex are not physiologically designed to have sexual relations or produce offspring);
- experiencing sexual abuse in childhood, which may lead to confusion regarding sexuality and preferences;
- early school indoctrination that conflicts with nature, health, and well-being;
- being persistently encouraged from a young age to explore same-sex relationships or engage in “gay” role-play in schools;
- ostracizing or attempting to criminalize all forms of dissent against the influential LGBTQ movement in the West.
Some Muslim scholars also state that just as people may ‘learn’ homosexual behavior, they can also learn to abandon it if they choose to correct their behavior and receive proper guidance. In doing so, they may return to their natural state, or at least refrain from homosexual activity if they are unable to become heterosexual.
Al-Allamah Imam Abdul Aziz bin Baz rahimahullah was asked concerning the man who becomes a Muslim but before he embraced Islam he was a practising homosexual. Once he became a Muslim, he repented from that sinful un-Islamic behaviour. However, his soul desires homosexuality. Shaikh Ibn Bāz answered by saying: “He should cling to his repentance and all praise is for Allah.” (See Sharh Bulūgh Al-Marām, Kitāb Al-Hudūd, https://binbaz.org.sa/audios/125/). Clinging to repentance means to give up the sin, feel remorse for disobeying Allah, seek Allah’s forgiveness and be resolute in not returning back to the sin.
In today's time, especially on social media and the internet, you will see many web series, movies, porn in Hindi, English, and in many other languages, where it is shown that one woman is kissing another woman—whether a tongue kiss or a light kiss—and one man is kissing another man—again, tongue or light kisses.
There is physical attraction shown, and the LGBTQ movement is being displayed. There is constant exposure on the internet, through reels, YouTube shorts, Facebook reels, and many other methods, and politics is also being linked to the LGBTQ movement.
In this way, constant exposure is happening, and an attempt is being made to normalize it, which will corrupt the natural state.
When something is seen again and again, it stays in a person’s mind, whether it is good or bad. Just like this, you see promotion on the internet, or even offline on boards—why do you see promotion? Because when a person sees something repeatedly, it stays in their mind, and there is a turning point.
So, what a person sees again and again—especially on social media—stays in their mind, whether it is good or bad.
In the same way, when something becomes common in society or a country, no one considers it bad.
Similarly, these people—who are bad, dirty people—are trying to normalize LGBTQ homosexuality. May Allah protect us all from this.
So, these are all the various ways I mentioned that lead towards homosexual acts.
#64. Ways to Cut the Means
Muslim scholars state that just as people have ‘learned’ to be homosexual, they can also learn not to be if they choose to correct their behaviour and are helped in that process; and therefore, they return back to their natural state of being, or at least desist from homosexual activity if they are not able to be heterosexual.
This can be supported by taking practical steps to cut off the means that lead to such behaviour. A person should limit exposure to content that promotes or normalizes such acts, especially on social media, web series, and entertainment platforms. Reducing constant exposure helps prevent these ideas from settling in the mind.
It is also important to choose a good environment and company, as a person is influenced by the people around them. Staying with individuals who encourage modesty, discipline, and good character can help strengthen one’s resolve.
Another important step is to engage in beneficial activities, such as seeking knowledge, عبادah (worship), physical exercise, and productive work. Keeping oneself busy reduces idle time, which often leads to harmful thoughts and habits.
A person should also guard their thoughts and lower their gaze, avoiding situations that may trigger desires. Over time, controlling small actions helps in controlling larger behaviours.
Seeking guidance, support, and sincere advice from trusted and knowledgeable people can also play a key role in helping a person remain firm and focused on change.
Lastly, one should make constant du‘ā (supplication) and seek help from Allah, asking for strength, guidance, and protection from harmful desires. With patience, effort, and reliance upon Allah, a person can strive to correct their behaviour and stay away from actions that are considered sinful.
#65. Countries Where Homosexuality Is Illegal
Homosexuality is illegal in virtually every Muslim country in the world with punishments ranging from fines and prison to corporal punishment and execution. There are over 75 countries across the world, Muslim and non-Muslim, that consider homosexuality to be a criminal offence. #66. Countries Where Homosexuality Is Legal
🌍 Global Legal Status (Wikipedia Data)
✅ Most countries: homosexuality is legal
- “Most nations do not prohibit consensual same-sex activity” (Wikipedia)
- This reminds me of the Last Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, speech concerning same sex sexual relationships in relation to the people of Lut, alyhisalam: Jābir narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
- إِنَّ أَخْوَفَ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي عَمَلُ قَوْمِ لُوطٍ
“What I fear most for my followers is the act of the People of Lūt.” (i.e., sodomy)
(Collected by At-Tirmidhi, 1457 and Ibn Mājah, 2563, and graded as hasan by Al-Albāni)
Ibn ‘Abbās narrated that Allah’s Last Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) stated:
لعن اللهُ من عمِل عملَ قومِ لوطٍ، لعن اللهُ من عمِل عملَ قومَ لوطٍ، لعن اللهُ مَن عملَ عملَ قومِ لُوطٍ
“The curse of Allah is upon the one who engages in the act of the People of Lūt. The curse of Allah is upon the one who engages in the act of the People of Lūt. The curse of Allah is upon the one who engages in the act of the People of Lūt.”
Reported in Musnad Imām Ahmad ibn Hanbal 4/292 and graded saheeh by Ahmad Shākir; see As-Silsilatus-Sahīhah of Al-Albāni, no. 6432, who graded it saheeh (authentic)
👉 Meaning:
- The majority of countries in the world allow homosexuality legally
❌ Countries where it is illegal
- About 70 countries still criminalize homosexuality (Wikipedia) which is also mentioned by Shaykh AbuKhadeeja in his article: . There are over 75 countries across the world, Muslim and non-Muslim, that consider homosexuality to be a criminal offence. Source: The LGBTQ Movement: Homosexuality and Islam: Understanding Muslim Attitudes To Homosexuality (Islam 5.7)
- Another dataset shows around 62–63 countries criminalize it (recent estimates) (Wikipedia)
⚖️ Death penalty
- In some countries (mainly under strict Sharia-based
laws),
homosexual acts can be punished by death (Wikipedia)
Examples mentioned by Wikipedia:
- Afghanistan
- Iran
- Saudi Arabia
- Mauritania
- Parts of Nigeria
📊 Population impact
- Around 21% of the world’s population lives in countries where it is criminalized (Wikipedia)
🌐 Trend over time
- Many countries have decriminalized homosexuality over the past decades, especially:
- Europe (almost fully legal today)
- Americas (mostly legal) (Wikipedia)
📌 Simple Summary (Wikipedia-based)
- ✔️ Majority of countries → legal
- ❌ ~60–70 countries → illegal
- ⚠️ Some countries → death penalty possible
- 👥 ~1/5 of global population lives under criminalization
🧾 Conclusion (from Wikipedia data)
- The global trend is moving toward legalization
- But there is still a significant number of countries where it remains illegal

#67. WHAT HOMOSEXUALS WANT AND HOW THEY ACHIEVE IT
Homosexual activists demand the following sequential affairs from societies and governments:[1]
First, they want government to legally sanction their behaviour which is centred around the practice of sodomy (anal sex). They also want such behaviour normalized and promoted to children in the name of “human rights.” This is done by demanding governments to abolish anti-sodomy laws, abolish age of sexual consent laws and enforce sexual liberation indoctrination within schools. Second, once their high-risk behaviour has been legally sanctioned by the government, the government must police it at society’s cost This is done by demanding the government to enforce testing for HIV-AIDS and other transmissible diseases in gay bars, clubs and bathhouses.[2] Third, they want society to bear the financial cost for treating the consequences of their high-risk behaviour through the nation’s health services and a whole host of other programs.[3]
Fourth: They want governments to threaten and punish those who do not validate this behaviour due to personal morals and values or religious tradition. Lobbying as “human rights” organizations, they apply pressure upon ministers, governments and public and private institutions in numerous ways. Through this they acquire special privileges in projecting their culture on to society whilst legal action is taken against those who wish to assert and preserve their traditional culture and values, be they Muslims, Jews or Christians.[4]
Fifth: They want the muzzle placed on ex-gays who have voluntarily left the homosexual lifestyle and on gay activists who reject and strongly oppose “gay marriage” and on all voices - including those of homosexual academics, researchers, writers and social critics - who express any form of opposition to their goals and pursuits. Often, they may be described as “self-loathing faggots” and “homophobes.”
Sixth: A pedophile subculture is part of the broader “gay rights” movement and mainstream homosexual activists indirectly serve the cause of this subculture and its goals to legalize pedophilia by campaigning against “sexual ageism.” The campaigning strategies that were taken with respect to “gay rights” are being implemented with respect to “child rights” by which it is meant, “a child’s right have sex with adults.” Instead of saying “homosexual pedophiles desire sex with children” which is the empirically accurate depiction of the affairs, it is deceptively and cunningly presented as if children want to have sex with adults and are being discriminated against. Thus, “child rights” will be campaigned for using the “antidiscrimination” card. Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen write in their homosexual propaganda manual, “And when we say talk about homosexuality, we mean just that. In the early stages of any campaign to reach straight America, the masses should not be shocked and repelled by premature exposure to homosexual behavior itself. Instead, the imagery of sex should be downplayed and gay rights should be reduced to an abstract social question as much as possible.
First let the camel get his nose inside the tent - only later his unsightly derriere.[5] “[6]And later in the book, the true long term objective is revealed, in explicit words, “In time we see no reason why more and more diversity should not be introduced into the projected image, i.e., drag queens, pedophiles, etc.”[7] Mainstream gay activists are working to the clearly understood plan that after the “nose” of homosexuality has gotten into the tent, work will commence on entering the “unsightly derriere” into the tent straight after, in the name of child rights and fighting against “sexual ageism” using all the same tactics to project a nice image of pedophiles as ordinary, all-right, lovely people. In an interview in the Electronic Mail and Guardian (30th June 1997), South Africa, gay activist and pedophile Kevin Bishop was promoting the work of the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) in South Africa and revealed his agreement with NAMBLA that the next social movement in Western politics will be an attack on “sexual ageism,” which prohibits sexual contact based on age differences. In the same interview Bishop said, “Scratch the average homosexual and you will find a pedophile.”
From what has preceded, “gay rights is not about the attainment of truth nor social justice but the achievement of power. The battle centers on the control of public discourse through marketing and persuasion, to shape what society thinks about and how they think about it.”[8] Once legal and political power is attained - and they have been largely successful - they want to project and force their lifestyle on to others and desire to change the very fabric and structure of society as is stated in their own words. Kirk and Madsen write unabashedly about how homosexual activists should achieve their goals, “The homosexual agenda can succeed by conversion of the average Americans emotions, mind, and will, through, a planned psychological attack in the form of propaganda to the nation via media.”[9]

Summary: What Homosexual Activists Want and How They Achieve It
The text claims that homosexual activists seek a series of changes in society and government. It argues that they first aim for legal recognition and normalization of their behavior by removing laws that restrict it and promoting acceptance through education and media.
Next, it states that governments are expected to regulate and manage related public health issues, and that society is made to bear financial costs through healthcare systems and other programs.
The text further claims that activists try to influence laws and institutions to support their views, while penalizing or suppressing opposition, especially from those with religious or traditional beliefs.
It also argues that dissenting voices, including former homosexuals or critics, are often silenced or marginalized in public discourse.
Additionally, the text makes the claim that there are broader agendas connected to activism, including controversial issues, and suggests that strategies such as media influence, gradual normalization, and political pressure are used to shape public opinion and societal values.
Finally, the text concludes that the movement is portrayed not as a pursuit of truth or justice, but as an effort to gain social and political power and reshape society.
#68. How to Convince Muslim or Non-Muslim Authorities Not to Legalize Homosexuality
Even high-ranking authorities—prime ministers, presidents, members of parliament, kings, judges, police, army officials, and ministers of education—whether in Muslim or non-Muslim countries, know deep down that homosexuality is forbidden, both from a worldly and medical perspective. Deep down, they understand that it goes against the natural human fitrah (innate disposition).
Yet, some still legalize it due to political pressure, foreign influence, or other reasons. Regardless of the circumstances, according to Islam, homosexuality is forbidden, a major sin, and against fitrah, no matter the country, the law, or how widely it is normalized. Even though many countries have legalized it (as reported by Wikipedia), Muslims are not meant to blindly follow trends; clear Islamic teachings prohibit this behavior.
If a Muslim has access to or influence over authorities, they should not compromise their natural state of fitrah. A person who is respected by politicians or officials should uphold Islamic guidance and never support the legalization or permissibility of LGBTQ rights.
Instead, it is recommended to:
- Share authentic Islamic references, books, and articles that clearly explain the issue.
- Present a formal letter or application to the authorities explaining:
- How homosexuality is against fitrah
- How it can potentially harm individuals and society
By providing a clear, well-researched, and respectful explanation, a Muslim can responsibly advise authorities in line with Islamic teachings without compromising their faith.
Indeed, we have a good example in our Prophet Lut(Lot), may Allah be pleased with him, in inviting his people and admonishing them with good words and good preaching, as Allah says (what means): {The people of Lot denied the messengers. When their brother Lot said to them, “Will you not fear Allah? Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. So fear Allah and obey me. And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. Do you approach males among the worlds. And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing.” They said, ‘If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted.” He said, “Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it]. My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do.”} [Quran 26:160-169]
Al-Imam As-Si’di rahimahullah said in his Tafseer(easy tafsir mentioned by Al-Allamah Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan):
“They were -along with their disbelief -committing an immorality that no one preceded them to it in the worlds. They choose to have sex with the males, which is a filthy, evil and abominable act, and abandon what Allah created for them from among their wives; this is due to their transgression and aberration. Prophet Loote continued to advise them until {They said} to him {‘If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted.”; i.e. from the town. When he noticed that they were persisting in it, he said: {“Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it]}; i.e. who hate it, who forbid it, and warn against it; [then he said] {My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do.”}; i.e. from doing that act and its punishment, so Allah responded to his supplication.
#69. Islam Is Strange and Strange Things Will Happen – Be Among the Ghuraba (Strangers)
Islam teaches that the natural disposition of humans, called fitrah, is guided by what is inherently right. Actions that go against fitrah are self-evidently wrong, even without external proof. Examples include homosexuality and seeking help, intercession, dua, or protection from those in graves, which Islam clearly prohibits.
1. Against Fitrah
- Homosexuality is against natural human instincts (fitrah), yet we see it being legalized and normalized in many countries today.
- Similarly, asking for help, assistance, dua intercession, or protection from those in the graves is against fitrah. This is known in Islam as major shirk and kufr, even if someone claims that Allah gives the people of graves power in the grave.
2. Authentic Hadith References
Islam explicitly warns against these practices:
- Graves as places of worship:
Ahmad (rahimahullāh) reported from Ibn Mas’ood (radiyallāhu ‘anhumā), elevated as a saying of the Prophet ﷺ:
“Indeed the most evil of people will be those who are alive when the Final Hour reaches them, and those who take the graves as places of worship.”
(Musnad Ahmad 1/405, 38844; Al-Albānee, Tahdheer as-Sājid, p. 23 – saheeh) - Prayer against grave worship:
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:
“O Allah, do not make my grave an idol that is worshiped. Allah cursed the people who took the graves of their prophets as places of worship.”
(Musnad Ahmad 7358, authentic) - Images and places built over graves:
Narrated from ‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Those people, if there was a righteous man among them, when he died they built a place of worship over his grave and made images. They will be the most evil of creation before Allah on the Day of Resurrection.”
(Sunan an-Nasa’i 704, Sahih – Darussalam)
3. Be Among the Ghuraba (Strangers)
- The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being strange as it began. So give glad tidings to the strangers.”
(Sahih Muslim, 145) - Meaning: Being a Muslim often means living against societal trends, following what is right according to fitrah and the Shariah, even if most people accept what is wrong.
4. Takeaway
- Many actions in society today—like legalizing homosexuality or venerating graves—contradict fitrah, which does not require external evidence because it is self-evident.
- Muslims are instructed to hold firmly to the natural guidance of Islam, maintain righteousness, and be among the ghuraba, even if society considers these actions normal or acceptable.
#70. Protecting Fitrah in a World That Normalizes Sin
In today’s world, many societal trends, media, and laws are working to normalize acts that are against human fitrah, such as homosexuality, grave worship, or other forbidden behaviors. Islam teaches that the fitrah is innate, and it is the responsibility of every Muslim to protect their natural disposition and guide others according to what is right.
1. Understanding Fitrah
- Fitrah is the natural state Allah has created in every human being.
- Actions that are self-evidently wrong—even if society accepts them—are still violations of fitrah.
2. The Role of Awareness
- A Muslim must recognize trends that oppose fitrah early, whether in schools, workplaces, or media.
- Knowledge from the Quran, Hadith, and Islamic scholars helps identify what is naturally wrong.
3. Standing Firm Against Normalization
- Just as #69 discussed, legalization or social acceptance does not make an act permissible in Islam.
- Muslims are encouraged to remain steadfast, even if they are in the minority, and to uphold moral and religious principles.
4. Actions to Protect Fitrah
- Personal Responsibility: Avoid imitating or participating in acts against fitrah.
- Community Guidance: Educate family, friends, and the wider community about natural human disposition and Islamic ethics.
- Public Advocacy: If possible, speak or write in a respectful and knowledgeable way about preserving fitrah, based on Islamic teachings.
5. Connection to Ghuraba
- The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being strange as it began. So give glad tidings to the strangers.”
(Sahih Muslim 145) - Those who protect fitrah and uphold Islam’s guidance in a world of corruption are ghuraba (strangers)—unique, firm, and rewarded by Allah.
Summary:
Muslims must recognize that societal
acceptance or legalization of sinful acts does not change their
nature. Protecting fitrah requires knowledge, awareness,
steadfastness, and scholars' guidance, especially from those who are passed away from this worldly
life, and those who do so are honored as the strangers
of Islam.

[5] Meaning, first let us at least push our noses through the door and once we are in, our backsides will follow. The meaning of this statement is that once the positively portrayed homosexual is in the tent, the pedophiles, sadomasochists and other subcultures will immediately follow suit behind them.
